But fans of the series can't help but want more. The people of the Forgotten Valley are so interesting and endearing that we want to marry them too. Unfortunately, Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life had other plans for our romantic endeavors. Still, we can't help but dream of what it would be like if these characters also embraced our blue feathers.
8 Puyi
Help them find their new home in the Forgotten Valley.
Puyi is a nature-loving spirit who roams the forests north of the Forgotten Valley. Occasionally he will set up on the bridge between the Lei-Over Inn and Vesta's Farm and ask if you have any spare money, up to 100G at a time, so he can return to his home on Coco Island. Unfortunately, he doesn't get the chance to leave the valley, but instead you can get the Blessed Scythe by donating it.
Puyi's Heart event will have a free spirit teaching us to appreciate nature better with him, even if he still misses his old home. If he accepts our blue feathers and comes to live with us on our farm, we are sure he will love his new home just as much as he loved Coco Island. He will influence my child to become a farmer based on his love of nature, but I can also see his songs convincing my child to choose music instead.

Sometimes love is the best medicine
Baddoch doesn't properly move into town until Chapter 2, but he occasionally visits Forgotten Valley in Chapter 1. He may seem aloof and slightly threatening, but the Doctor has good intentions and only wants the people of the Forgotten Valley. To be happy and healthy.
I don't think I'm the type that's easy to date because it's not always in the valley, but I think I'll be able to visit more often with updates. His heart incident may have doctors fretting about our farmer working too hard and learning to work at a reasonable pace. If a doctor starts a family with us, he will probably convince our child to focus on his studies, and maybe even persuade our child to become a doctor when he grows up.

Van visits the Forgotten Valley twice a month (on the 3rd and 8th), making him a difficult candidate to woo if possible. If we could romance a traveling salesman, perhaps he would stay in town, leave early and return late in the evening. Then our farmer will have more opportunities to give Van gifts of food and win his heart through his stomach.
It would have been funny if, in his confessional scene, Van originally thought we were trying to sell him a blue feather instead of offering it to him as a token of our affection. It's a little harder to imagine what Van will convince my child to become when he grows up. The three most likely options seem to be art, academics, and music. Van then sells upgraded farm equipment, so maybe I can help get my kid interested in ranching or farming.
5 Vesta
Every farmer deserves love
Among the three farmers who live on a farm east of town, Vesta is the only one who cannot date. She has a big heart and loves puns. She is protective of Cecilia and her brother Matthew and always does her best to take care of them. Her lusty appearance also makes her significantly different from any damsel the series has given us so far.
The Heart of Vesta scene allows her to give the farmer advice on how to improve, slowly becoming more casual and less work-oriented. She would be surprised if we offered her a blue feather instead of a traditionally attractive beloved. But we are happy to have this farmer as our bride. She will be a wonderful, caring mother who will help our child develop an interest in ranching and farming, just like her beloved old mother.
4 Daryl
Can love be scientifically proven?
Daryl is definitely a weirdo. His house is a mess, with not a single bed in sight and full of science experiments in progress. The person also acts strangely outside the home. There he will watch your animals and wonder if even your child could be used for experiments. Still, despite his strangeness – or perhaps because of it – many of us wish we could give this scientist some blue feathers to study.
The heart event with Daryl will be similar to some kind of cutscene he is already participating in. They attempt to conduct a scientific experiment, but with a more romantic twist, it ends up going horribly wrong. Eventually, the farmer decides to take the final step, giving Daryl a blue feather. This ends one experiment and begins another. It's about starting a family. Daryl will definitely try to influence his children to follow in his academic footsteps and experiment on their own.

Dig into his heart
While you can't romance Carter in this version of A Wonderful Life, you can technically marry him, or rather his descendants, in Harvest Moon DS Cute, which may lead many fans to hope that he can be wooed in the Switch game. Unfortunately, this dedicated archaeologist was married to one thing: his profession.
If Carter had given your heart a chance, the events of his heart would have been very similar to DS Cute: Bonding While Spending Time at a Dig Site. Ultimately, your farmer will give him something better than any artifact he can unearth. It's Blue Feather, and she will be his mate at the end of Chapter 1. Gavin's Descendants also had a touch of romance in DS Cute, but it didn't have the same courtesy in Story of Seasons. Flora is one of many single women to be romanced in Harvest Moon DS, and has become a fan favorite ever since. Many hoped we'd be able to woo this cosmic archaeologist when the remake came out, but unfortunately the Harvest Goddess had other plans for us. Flora always seems to be in her own world and taking things at her own pace, but she is passionate about what interests her. We can only hope to be included in this.
Her thoughts may include our farmer walking through Flora, standing idly across the valley, and experiencing all sorts of hardships. Luckily we were there to bail her out and will provide any help we can. Flora is so absent-minded that her child could honestly chase any attention. Of course Flora would want an academic child. They don't need to be archaeologists like her. They just need to study well to live happily, but she supports whatever they choose.
