You don’t have to wait for the organized chaos of Black Friday, either. Amazon’s Big Deal Day, the bridge between the two, is back. It will take place on October 8th and 9th.Big Deal Days are a great opportunity for those who want to get their holiday shopping done early and get some great deals.
During Big Deal Days, almost everything you can buy cheaply on Amazon is likely to be on sale in some form. But finding the item you want at the biggest discount isn’t as easy as it sounds. To help you avoid scouring Amazon while the two-day event and Big Deal Days are ahead and many of the sale prices are revealed early, we’ve rounded up the best deals available. PS5 and PS4 games
The PS5 Pro pre-order period will begin around the time of the Big Deal Days sale in 2024. Some of you may be lucky enough to get your hands on one, either the regular model or the PS1-style 30th Anniversary model. No matter how cool the latter looks, and no matter how good the games on both models are, they are both expensive consoles, so why not get a few games for as cheap as possible?
Of course, the PlayStation section of this guide isn’t just for potential PS5 Pro owners. There are games on sale above for those who already own a base PS5, and there are also games on sale for PS4 owners who want to keep their previous generation for a little longer. If you’re looking to get your hands on a card right now, even if there’s nothing listed above, we’ll be adding more deals to all sections as we prepare for Big Deal Days and once the event starts.

The Nintendo Switch has been out for over seven years, and while Nintendo won't say anything, we know a sequel is coming, but the biggest games are rarely dropping in price. The Switch will almost certainly be the best-selling console of all time. With 21 games selling over 10 million copies, Nintendo is doing well. It could probably survive if it were to get a few more games for less.
All of this being said, Switch games still sell well when they’re on sale, so you can usually only save a few bucks here and there. With that in mind, we’ve tried to find some of the biggest games on Switch that you can get for less during Big Deal Days, even if the difference isn’t that significant in most cases, and will likely be even more so during the sale event itself.
Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One games
The biggest selling point of owning an Xbox, despite the recent price hike and tier overhaul, is still Game Pass. But if you don’t have Game Pass—either because you weren’t interested in it to begin with or because the price hike turned you off—you can treat your Series X|S or Xbox One like a regular console.
Of course, Game Pass is still a good deal, but it really depends on how often you use it. If you only play a few games a year, it can be cheaper to buy them, especially when some of them are on sale, and right now there are some big games on sale for even cheaper thanks to Big Deal Days. Some of the games above aren’t available on Game Pass, so grab them while you can.
