Embark has announced its post-launch plans. ARC Raiders Extract Shooter is about to be released. The Swedish developer has released several “bigger” patches in the final two months of 2025, promising a variety of new content, balancing changes, and fixes. Not many specifics were provided at the time, but Embark executive producer Aleksander Grondal promised to share a detailed roadmap soon after the game's launch.
ARC Raiders Adds New Maps, Weapons, Events, and More by Year-End
Now, the studio has made good on that promise by releasing a preliminary content roadmap for the remainder of 2025. The agenda identifies two major updates in the form of North Line and Cold Snap, which will be released in November and December respectively. Both promise something new ARC Raiders There will be quests and events, but only Northline will introduce additional maps. This location, called Stella Montis, will be the fifth map in the game to date.

Although PvPvE dynamics are the core of what makes the game ARC Raiders To deliver a compelling experience, additional maps could potentially enhance the appeal of the core formula and improve the game's staying power. This thinking may have contributed to Embark's decision to prioritize the release of Stella Montis while the extraction shooter was still in its infancy. The November 2025 map update also adds new ARC machines, Matriarch and Shredder.
Conversely, December's cold snap patch will introduce heavy snow conditions, a Flickering Flames event, and, in the game's Battle Pass jargon, a new raider deck. Another expedition departure period will also be part of the package. This means December 2025 will be the start of a new exploration cycle. Apart from these two large updates, Embark has also promised smaller content releases. ARC Raiders'Choose map conditions, achievements, trials, cosmetics, among other features and elements.
