As GTA 6 is delayed, playstation gambling for Yotei's Ghost

At the end of last month, PlayStation announced that in early October, the PS5 exclusive Ghost's ghost would potentially be placed against the power that could not be reached in the GTA 6. Bold movements have chosen to maintain the company in the release window that can avoid the fear of being buried under the shadow of Rockstar.

But as my colleague Andrew King wrote, the first half of the year Accumulated All other publishers are trying to avoid GTA 6, so they throw their elbows with others, paradoxically, they want to avoid rock stars during the competition, take risks, and actually be a quarter of the year. PlayStation chose the latter and was a gambling but paid money.

GTA 6 has been delayed until 2026, leaving the rest of the 2025 after a year of crickets and rotation (a minute, a red dead). We will not doubt that many publishers are in a hurry to organize the release date. Knowing that you know well will be one of the biggest video games in history. But Sony doesn't have to worry about it. It was ahead of the game.

Autumn is the season of Yotei's ghost

The only main release we know at the end of this year is Borderlands 4, and take-2 Interactive (although it was announced just before the GTA 6 announcement, but Randy Pitchford refused to be related to it). This means that the second half of 2025 is the ghost of Yotei's domain. Compete with the flagship playstation exclusive Open World Eyes in the Assassin 'S CREED.

Sucker Punch's new IP, the first IP that is not tested, sells almost 1 million copies, one of the most sold games on PS4. The sequel to the waiting fanbase is one of the biggest games of 2025, and everything that is convenient to catch an empty point was to sing Rockstar from Bluff. Of course, it continued to repeat that GTA 6 would be released in 2025, but no one believed it. If a new trailer is not visible or there is no marketing, the promise is thin and thin all day long.

Sony, like many other people, has not seen or care about it through blusters, and I hope it will be the latter. GTA 6 will be huge. You can't deny it, but you can't see a world where major triple A releases, such as Yotei's ghosts, fail to face Titan. Many were concerned that forgetful remasters would vary in Claus.

So I hope the ghost will be a lesson for the publisher who says that Rock Star is holding a line, so you don't have to be too stupid when fencing on the release date. The next time you do a big swing will appear at the top as the PlayStation has.
