Despite its name, Magic: The Gathering's Foundations Jumpstart isn't just another tie-in with the similarly named Foundations. Instead, it is its own full Jumpstart set, similar to the original and Jumpstart 2022, complete with new cards and reprints not found in other sets.
This set is always an absolute joy to play and gives you the opportunity to get your hands on some really powerful cards. This set releases on November 15th with Foundation, and all the cards included in it are included here.
Unlike Foundation, these cards are not Standard-legal unless they were already printed in a Standard-legal set.
Updated Oct 28, 07:01 GMT by Joe Parlock. After some confusion, we are still waiting for the Foundations Jumpstart set. It's likely to be today, but we've also got the regular base to focus on, so get ready to see a lot of cards.

white
As with the original Jumpstart set, Cats and Dogs seem to be the biggest feature of white in Foundations Jumpstart. Generous Pup is definitely one card to keep an eye on, as it is used alongside cards like Cathar's Crusade and +1/+1 Counter Doubler.

Whenever another creature you control leaves the battlefield, if it isn't dead, scry 1 and put a +1/+1 counter on Taeko. Each time Taeko attacks, you can pay either one blue or one black. Card draw, life loss, creature sacrifice, etc. are all in Black's wheelhouse, so a reprint of Vilis the Bloodbroker is a great inclusion in this set.

Zada, Hedron Grinder is getting some fun toys now in Foundations Jumpstart thanks to Frontline Heroism, which copies spells for added value, and Hearts on Fire, which gives you the option to target only one creature. Expect this set to feature increased range and heavy use of red burn spells.

Jumpstart sets tend not to focus on multicolored cards, as the pack theme is generally monochromatic. There were only a few in the original Jumpstart, and none in Jumpstart 2022. But who knows, maybe Foundations Jumpstart will buck this trend?

Colorless cards are the backbone of the Jumpstart set as they provide access to invaluable artifact synergies and mana smoothing. We'll also be getting lands in a variety of colors to help them work well with whatever deck they're paired with.
