EA is releasing server-side updates for: Battlefield 6Backend changes to certain parts of the game, including weapon adjustments. After a record-breaking beta test just a few months ago, Battlefield 6 It's finally available to everyone, and so far the game is already dominating the sales charts.
Receiving strong reviews from critics along with strong word of mouth, Battlefield 6 It looks set to be one of the franchise's biggest releases. In just a few days, Battlefield 6 Already topping the sales charts, the game was able to gross over $100 million on Steam alone on its release date. Still, EA isn't resting on a strong launch, as the publisher and co-development studio continue to tweak and tweak players' experiences.
Battlefield 6 backend server updates
In a post posted on the Battlefield Comms official social media channels, Battlefield 6 We've received a new update applied to the backend. This means there is no download required on the player side. Unlike previous patches, the changes are very brief. One of the major adjustments is adjusting the number of tickets. Battlefield 6The popular Rush game mode goes from 75 to 100.
Along with Rush, the server update also brought adjustments to several weapons: Battlefield 6. All shotgun projectiles are now affected by drag. This aims to prevent players from using projectiles at extreme ranges instead of getting much closer as intended. The muzzle velocity of the M2010 ESR and PSR sniper rifles has also been reduced. M2010 received an increase from 900 m/s to 800 m/s, while PSR received a smaller adjustment from 750 m/s to 720 m/s.
While the move has been well-received by players, the community continues to push back against larger issues. In fact, many people have already started listing some of the features and elements they would like to see changed. Weapon bloom, the mechanism that controls the spread when a gun is fired, is one element that fans seem to be having trouble with. Many in the community have called for EA to tone it down. Battlefield 6Weapon Bloom posts clips and videos of shots where aiming at an enemy player doesn't count as a hit or randomly misses the target. Interestingly, Battlefield 2042 I had a similar issue and DICE eventually fixed it.
