Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred – 7 Best Legendary Aspects of the Spiritborn
These legendary aspects are some of the Spiritborn's most powerful options in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred.
The Spiritborn is one of the most powerful classes in the game and has access to a variety of powerful build options. Below we'll look at some of the best Spiritborn builds and their respective strengths and weaknesses.

Quill Bali Eagle

Quill Volley is one of the Spiritborn's best attacks for AoE, firing a wave of cone-shaped feathers that each deal significant damage. This build powers up Quill Volley as much as possible, making it a top-tier skill that you can spam constantly for extremely high and consistent damage.
This is accomplished through a number of unique items, making this build somewhat difficult to prepare. But once you've acquired all the necessary gear and legendary aspects, you'll quickly see why this build is so powerful.
You only absolutely need two uniques for this build: Rod of Kepeleke and Ring of the Midnight Sun, but there are a few others that will make playing much smoother, like Yen's Blessing and Harmony of Ebewaka.
Combining the Rod of Kepeleke with the Ring of the Midnight Sun and using high enough resource generation will essentially give you infinite vitality, allowing you to endlessly spam powered quill volleys. This combo is used in a variety of Spiritborn builds, but is definitely the most powerful in Quill Volley.

crushing hand gorilla
merit |
disadvantage |

|
|
In many ways, the Crushing Hand build is very similar to the Quill Volley build discussed earlier. However, there are some key differences that set these builds apart in that they offer a fun, fast, and powerful playstyle.
Where Quill Volley shoots a wave of feathers forward, Crushing Hand hits a large AoE around you, giving you a bit more range to hit as many monsters as possible at once. Additionally, with the Rampant Crushing Hand talent, Crushing Hand's damage scales based on your Resolve stack, giving your build a lot of built-in damage reduction.
This build also uses the Rod of Kepeleke and Ring of the Midnight Sun combo for an infinite and permanent Critical Strike Core skill. However, this build definitely lacks weak coverage, so its damage potential is somewhat limited compared to the Quill Volley build. Still, it's a very powerful alternative suitable for different playstyles.
3
stinger centipede
merit |
disadvantage |

|
The Stinger Centipede build centers around Spiritborn's Stinger Core technology. In its default state, the Stinger damages enemies in a small area and poisons them for a short period of time. But when you combine this with the Pestilence Legendary Aspect, things start to get more interesting.
Aspect of the Plague allows Stinger to spawn a swarm of Plague, which then spirals outward in an expanding circle. These plague swarms can move around and attack the same enemy multiple times. Depending on the size of the enemy's hitbox, the same Plague Swarm can hit you more than 5 times.

Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred – 6 Best Unique Abilities for Spiritborn
Here are some of the most powerful unique items for the Spiritborn in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred.
To take advantage of the Pestilent Swarm's multi-hit ability, this build uses Vortex or Godslayer Crown to hold groups of enemies together and maximize the chances of Pestilent Swarm attacking them.
This build is very reminiscent of the Hammerdin style build from Diablo 2 or the Blessed Hammer build from Diablo 3. If you're a fan of that playstyle, the Stinger Centipede build is definitely the one you should try first.
2
Death Centipede's Touch
merit |
disadvantage |
---|---|
|
|
The Deathtouch Centipede build is the second build on this list that centers around poison, but it's much different than the previously mentioned Stinger build. It uses Death's Touch to pile up massive amounts of poison damage on enemies before exploding them with a critical strike. This is guaranteed thanks to the combo of Kepeleke's Rod and Midnight Sun's Ring.
This build uses Insatiable Aspect to allow for these explosions, and uses Jacinth Shell to reset the cooldowns of other abilities like Hunter, Scourge, and Armored Hide. Ebewaka's Harmony and Yen's Blessing are also used, as they provide very powerful effects suitable for a variety of Spiritborn builds.
This build uses 5 unique items, so it's definitely one of the hardest builds to equip, but it's worth the effort, especially if you like poison or DoT-based builds.
1
lake jaguar
merit |
disadvantage |
---|---|
|
|
The Rake Jaguar build is another build that utilizes the Rod of Kepeleke and Ring of the Midnight Sun combo, but the playstyle here is quite different from the other builds on this list. This build leverages Rake's wild-generating abilities to build up extremely high attack speed, unleashing massive waves of Rake's claw attacks.
This build is typical of the Jaguar playstyle, with high attack speed, tons of hits, and decent mobility. It also uses Jaguar for both primary and secondary Spirit Hall choices, which is amplified by the Loyalty's Mantle Unique Helm.
