Despite fan excitement, there are no signs that a Bloodborne remake or remaster is coming anytime soon.
If you've been watching the gaming space over the past few years, you'll know that the outcry for a Bloodborne remaster is louder than ever. Every new mention of a game from Sony raises fan excitement, but it's often followed by deafening silence. But expectations were never high.

FromSoftware fans are sharing the developer's “ugliest” enemy.
FromSoftware games have some really ugly little gremlins.
SIE Worldwide Studios' former president of PlayStation Shuhei Yoshida weighed in on why we haven't seen a remaster yet, saying the game's creator Hidetaka Miyazaki thinks it's impossible because he's “too busy.”
Miyazaki: “I really, really loved Bloodborne and the world he created.”
Speaking with Greg Miller on the Kinda Funny Gamescast for the first time since retiring from PlayStation, Shuhei Yoshida confirmed that despite many calls for a PlayStation reboot, “Bloodborne has always been the most requested one.”
He shared his “personal theory” as to why the game hasn't been remade, remastered, or updated yet.
First, he confirmed that he “has no idea what's actually going on because he left the First Party,” and that “Mr. Miyazaki really, really liked Bloodborne and what he created. I think he was interested, but it was too successful, and he was too busy to do it himself.” He can't, but the PlayStation team respects his wishes.”
Yoshida quickly reaffirmed that this was just “speculation and theory” and that “to be clear, we are not revealing any confidential information.”
I think he cares, he's too successful and too busy to do it himself, but he doesn't want anyone else touching it.
So, while we no longer expect to actually receive the remake or remaster or any information about it that we all so desperately want, why is this happening? May Not released yet.

Bloodborne is a PlayStation 4 exclusive title developed by FromSoftware, creators of Dark Souls and Elden Ring, and released in 2015. In this critically acclaimed action role-playing game, you must traverse the city of Yharnam in search of a cure for a mysterious disease.
