Festival dates continue
It's sweeter and more painful than you ever imagined.
Taiki and Hina's date, which takes up more than half of the episode, is a wild roller coaster of emotions. They portrayed both sides of the love triangle really well, so the date can be either amazing or terrible, depending on who you're rooting for.
For Hina fans, this episode was mostly a disaster. Of course, you could say Taiki and Hina. did They get closer, but not in a way that actually bodes well for the future, especially Hina. Throughout the date, Hina had her hopes ridiculously high, thinking that a romantic relationship with Taiki might now be on the cards. Little did she know that she spent almost half of her time at the festival with her rival. Also, while Taiki was away, Ito, a man who had a crush on Hina, saw her alone and asked to sit next to her, but Hina refused. It might have been cute for Hina to reject another man's advances because she liked Taiki, but it was like adding insult to injury when she found out that the man she left behind was hanging out with her crush.
Hina's only hope occurred at the end of the episode, when Chinatsu finally came to terms with the fact that she had feelings for Taiki, but said she would back off when it was revealed that Taiki and Hina were dating. Of course, the situation could be easily resolved, but this is a romance anime. This happens all the time because the protagonist is too tight-knit to correct such a simple thing.
“I wanted to ask you something earlier. Are you dating Chono? If you answer… my feelings about you as a housemate will change.” – Chinatsu to sleeping Taiki
Chinatsu fans responded well during the first half of the episode. Taiki met Chinatsu, who was caring for a lost little girl at a festival, and helped her find her parents. Taiki and Chinatsu holding the hands of the young girls looked like two parents enjoying the festival with their children. After sending the girl away, they spend some more time and watch fireworks together. It's also been strongly implied in the last few episodes that Chinatsu is finally developing feelings for Taiki, but fans actually get to hear her say it in this episode. In a flashback conversation, Karen asked Chinatsu if she ever saw her housemate as a man rather than a friend. Chinatsu clearly said yes, which probably melted the hearts of every Taiki x Chinatsu fan.

Blue Box captivated readers with relatable characters. All of them are unique, but these special individuals are among the best.
numerous misunderstandings
The fog of love and war thickens.
Even though it is a romance animation blue box It didn't really lean into the trope of characters having misunderstandings about each other every two seconds, but that all changed in this episode. Almost everyone has some kind of misunderstanding about one or more of the characters here, which can upset viewers, but was It was done in a way that made sense, so it could have been worse. Here are some of the biggest misunderstandings that occurred throughout the episode.
-
As mentioned above, Hina fell into the misunderstanding that she and Taiki were getting closer in a romantic sense. Taiki may understand Hina better now, but he still only thinks of her as a close friend, so those feelings are definitely not there. ~ no Mutual.
-
Ito, the man who has a crush on Hina, is now probably assuming that Hina and Taiki are dating, which may show up in future episodes.
-
Taiki, the dense protagonist, has no idea how the two girls around him are now falling for him, and thinks they both still see him as a friend.
-
The biggest misconception is where the episode ends. Chinatsu also got the impression that Taiki and Hina might be dating now, but was too embarrassed to confront him about it. Now Chinatsu clearly likes him and is considering acting on her feelings, but seeing him with Hina throws everything off.
Even though it's frustrating to see these misunderstandings happen, I'll definitely make the next episode. blue box It's more interesting. It leaves the audience with a lot of anticipation, as many viewers probably can't wait for the confrontation and resolution that will inevitably result from these misunderstandings.
