Borderlands 4's first season event will be a litmus test for the game's post-launch content. This means that the recently announced Horrors of Kairos will set the tone for what players can expect from seasonal events going forward. during Borderlands The series is no stranger to starting with a Halloween event. Borderlands 4‘The Terror of Kairos’ should live up to expectations. Borderlands 3This is a bloody harvest event. This deck seems to already be fighting the Terror of Kairos, as it misses the opportunity to add Halloween-themed features.
Announced during Borderlands 4 The PAX Australia panel, the Horrors of Kairos season mini-event, begins on October 23rd and is scheduled to run until November 6th. Horrors of Kairos will be a free update for everyone. Borderlands 4 The first paid DLC Bounty Pack (How Rush Saved the Merc's Day) was also detailed at the panel and is scheduled for release on November 20th. Kairos’ horror event contents are as follows. Borderlands 4 While players will get plenty of spooky vibes, it feels lacking in the cosmetics department with not a single Vault Hunter-specific head.

-
“Gourd Your Loins” Jack-o-Lantern head for all Vault Hunters

Seasonal weather changes in World Boss
The stars of the Terror of Kairos event are two new legendary weapons. Borderlands 4 Players to discover. The Murmur Legendary Tediore assault rifle executes weakened enemies while guaranteeing a critical hit on enemies below 35% health, while the Skully Legendary Order grenade seeks out the nearest target and fires a projectile. Both of these weapons Borderlands 4's World Boss with new seasonal Fitbee weather conditions.
Regarding the cosmetics available during the Horrors of Kairos event, players can obtain the Gourd Your Loins head, available to all Vault Hunters, and the Hex Appeal skin for all weapons. The Gourd Your Loins head fits in well with the Halloween spirit of the event, which is a Jack-o-Lantern with an ax stuck in it. Borderlands 4 We missed a golden opportunity to give each Vault Hunter a unique seasonal head to personalize players' Horrors of Kairos experience.
Borderlands 4's Horrors of Kairos event is missing obvious cosmetics
Vex Borderlands 4She's the poster child for the spooky season, considering she's depicted as a witch in the introduction. Borderlands 4A playable siren. So it would have been natural to give Vex some witch hat cosmetics for Halloween events like Horrors of Kairos to really lean into her witchy, goth aesthetic. The Gourd Your Loins head is a great cosmetic, but adding a witch hat to the Vex feels like an obvious addition, to the point where it makes more sense for each Vault Hunter to get their own Halloween-themed head. For example, Amon's medieval executioner hood, Harlowe's mad scientist, Rafa's scarecrow, and Vex's witch's hat.
The Vex got the short end of the stick in Horrors of Kairos.
Siren fans will be receiving a one-two punch in the coming weeks, with the inevitable nerfs to Vex's Infinite Bleed build set hitting Vault Hunter especially hard. Not only will Vex players likely lose their best build options with the October 16th patch set to address unintended interactions with the Bloodletter skill, but the missed opportunity to give Sirens the Witch's Hat cosmetic as a consolation prize during the Horrors of Kairos event will be disappointing for Vex fans. That is certain. This Halloween event would have been the perfect time to add some witch hat cosmetic items for the Vex. Borderlands 4 Players will see this head added to the game.
