Boruto lost to new generation comics

Worst of all, it ruins the legacy of existing characters in Boruto as the series continues to use them as stepping stones for new characters. Naruto and Kurama's bond was broken and Sasuke's Rinnegan was taken from him. Sakura never played a major role in the sequel, and the other Kage did play a role once as well.

When Jujutsu Kaisen ended, fans were sure the franchise wouldn't have much of a future, but Gege Akutami suddenly revealed a sequel series called Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo. With just a few chapters, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo has captured the hearts of fans, with some even saying that the writing is better than the original, as Gege has grown so much in manga writing.

Some old characters will be mentioned and some may return like Yuji, but the majority of the cast will be carried by the new trio of Yuka, Tsurugi, and Maru. They're adorable enough to drive the plot on their own, and the new stories introduced in the story are by far top-notch. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo is the perfect sequel to Gege's dark and brutal first series.And it lives up to all the expectations set by the original series.

Another interesting detail is that both boruto and Do Jujutsu with Modulo Although it features aliens, Modulo actually appears to be able to introduce these alien creatures properly. Their race, culture, habitat, way of life, and the reasons they do what they do are all put under a microscope in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, and the best part is that Boruto feels like a part of the main story, something that couldn't be achieved with Otsutsuki.

Boruto sales continue to decline and fans are concerned about the future of the series.
