All RPGs will tell you that the condition conditions are bad, and most of Dungeons & Dragons are no different. It is usually the worst every time one of you or your party members hits the state. There are many ways to protect themselves from them, but if you feel pain, it can be another problem.
Nevertheless, as the influence of these conditions can be heard, there may be a positive point for them. Investigating these conditions closely, it can be seen that it can not only be beneficial in the right situation, but also potentially save life.
There is a tendency
It falls
If you do not knock down the monster or knock yourself down, the condition with a tendency does not generally appear. It refers to the state in which living things are lying on the ground (back or front), but they are still conscious. They have disadvantages of attack rolls and can only move through crawls, but not necessarily bad.
If there is a tendency, the movement will decrease, but the sound and visibility are the same. Assuming an easy location, you can increase the stealth effect and be as close as possible to the region or goal before backing up. It also means that there are no disadvantages for people who attack you more than 5 feet away.
I opened my eyes
Now I can't see it
One of the most fearful things to keep an eye on all conditions. You can't see it. Attacks have a disadvantage in the attack, the attack has an advantage and automatically fails to check the ability. Does it sound pretty bad? Well, keep in mind that many creatures have effective abilities and spells only if you can see it.
For example, if the FAE enters the population, a highly attractive party member will intentionally notice him to protect the charm. Needless to say, there are items that can compensate for real names, such as detecting, familiar with spells, mechanics and spells, or relying on other senses.
Deafness
Shh, I'm trying not to hear
Like blinds, deaf people are not very popular, but it's a bit easier to handle. As long as you can see the enemy, you can fight effectively when you are deaf, but it is a bigger problem for an area with low lighting and difficult enemies.
In other words, there are many creatures that use or cast effective spells only if you can listen to spells using sound. If you can expect a particular magical magical user's lover to fight something like a siren with a song, you can provide a valuable protection layer.
Fascinator
I'm listening
At the face value, Charmed looks like a condition you want to avoid at all costs. It's not physically harmful, but you can't attack someone who fascinated you, making you more vulnerable to charisma. In other words, this condition is more advantageous for DMS to keep the story safely.
If you want to devise some players with murder trends, you can create a character with an important conspiracy with a passive attractive tool (eg, item, environment, and subtle magic). Since Charmed is not always clear, it is a method of protecting NPC from violent players for a long time to play its own role.
Scary
Too scary about danger
What I'm afraid is the conditions or dangerous scenarios that can be harmful during the battle. The fearful characters receive the shortcomings of all the rolls, while they can see the source of fear and become closer. If you apply correctly, this condition can help both players and DM.
In the case of players, it can be used to prevent allies from approaching the area of living things perceived as dangerous. In the case of DMS, it can be used to indicate that the party is potentially deadly and carefully close, to be too close or to meet certain destiny.
petrification
Stone cold safety
Many terrible destiny can be a character, but petrification is quite terrible. If you are petrified, you can't act or react in any way until the end of the condition is converted into a solid inanimate made of solid substances such as rocks or metals and the end of the condition. But with resistance to immunity to all damage, poison and diseases, the body stops aging.
With this in mind, petrified is a good way to protect the characters of Dire Straits. If the party member says that it collapses without healing or resurrecting during the battle, it can be put into the essential protected identity until it can be treated properly.
viewless
You can't see me
What is invisible is an annoying condition when it is used for you, but it is amazing when you use it on its own. If you are not visible, it is impossible to detect through vision (through normal means) and it is considered “hidden” hidden.
In addition, the initial attack roll gains advantages, and the attack on you get disadvantages. There is no disadvantage that DM does not present creative scenarios. You still have it, but you have it unless you fight creatures with great hearing or detection.
Grapple
Hug me
Since some conditions are explicitly tied to certain technologies, we are looking at Graphpled (with Graphpler feat). If you have seen wrestling in any form, Grappled refers to limiting your body using your own body. As a result, the affected organisms are fixed and if it is not separated by force or rust, abandonment will remain. The person who has seen the peak battle knows exactly how it can be used.
You depend on your last hit point, but you have enough power to match the enemy so that they don't move or fight. This opens up the opportunity to deliver the last blow as your allies are reached safety or noble themselves for victory.
