How to Complete the Uncanny Romance Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To get started, unlock Sally as a villager in: DDV Play with her or give her gifts until she reaches friendship level 2. Then, the Strange Romance quest will automatically start. Other important characters to consider unlocking are Jack Skellington, Daisy, and Minnie, who will play an essential role in your quest.

As they begin their quest, Sally admits that she would like to go on a date with Jack, but feels nervous about their time apart. When asked what gives her confidence, she asks players to plant Deadly Nightshade to create her favorite perfume. Take a Deadly Chestnut Seed, plant it anywhere, and wait 15 minutes for your crop to grow.


After harvesting the Deadly Nightshades, give them to Sally and tell her to prepare for her date while you look for Jack. Find the skeleton and tell Sally you're anxious. To make his lover more comfortable, he sends the Dreamer to fetch two pieces of chestnuts to make needles for Sally when she loses them.

Find the shiny hole to get two pieces of chestnuts, or take them from your personal inventory and deliver them to Jack. Once the date begins, it quickly becomes awkward when Sally interprets Jack's gift negatively, bringing the date to an abrupt end. Talk to Sally and ease her worries by suggesting they resolve the awkwardness by talking to romance experts Daisy and Minnie.
