Emily Beth “Emiru” Schunk lashed out at her colleague. convulsions Star Matthew “Mizkiv” Rinaudo for sexual assault, abuse and making threats involving a dead pet, among other charges. The claims provide new context to the Twitch streamer's previously private relationship.
Fans speculated that the two began dating around January 2022, shortly after Mizkiv publicly broke up with Maya Higa. Around this time, Emiru joined Mizkif's One True King streaming organization as a content creator and moved into the OTK Mansion in Austin, Texas. A year later, she became co-owner of OTK. In an October 25 stream, Emiru confirmed that he was indeed in a relationship with Mizkif, indicating that they had broken up in early 2025. “This whole year I’ve been trying to break up with him and not talk about him,” she said.

Emiru decided to end this silence after learning that several new incidents involving Mizkif were similar to what he had done to her. “I can’t sit here in good conscience knowing that I know important information about someone that no one else knows and is saying nothing about,” the streamer said. She accused Mizkiv of sexually assaulting her during one of her vulnerable episodes, which she said began with him trying to comfort her while she cried, but ended up trying to take advantage of her. “He was trying to get on top of me and he put his hand down my pants and I screamed,” Emiru said days after the assault at TwitchCon 2025.

During the October 25 broadcast, Emiru shared several messages from Mizkif, suggesting that Mizkif repeatedly attempted to reconcile after they broke off contact, while also displaying controlling and abusive behavior. She also accused him of making blackmail threats, although she did not substantiate it with a similar level of evidence. One alleged incident occurred at TwitchCon, where Mizkif reportedly approached one of her employees and threatened to “ruin” her if she spoke about him. “Several people have told me that his plan is to kill the animals and claim that I killed my rabbits as several of them had died over the three years they had been living with him.”

Mizkif acknowledges some of Emiru's claims and rejects others
Mizkif livestreamed a 40-minute response just hours after Emiru aired his accusations. On air, he appeared to admit to some of the allegations, including claims that he controlled his behavior, telling her to stop wearing pajamas, 'wear older clothes', avoid certain people and not travel without him. “Because I didn’t want her to get hurt,” he said. Regarding the sexual assault allegations, Mizkif disputed Emiru's characterization of the encounter. He claimed that although the incident occurred after their breakup, she was comfortable after they hugged and kissed for “about 30 minutes,” something Emiru acknowledged on his stream. “I thought that was exactly what she wanted, so I started taking it to the next level,” Mizkiv said. The rest of his story matches what Emiru said. She screamed and he stopped and hurried away.

In a response broadcast, Mizkif claimed Emiru showed “disgusting neglect” towards his pet rabbit. He claimed he repeatedly urged her to take better care of them while they were living together at the OTK mansion. Mizkiv expressed regret for not ending the relationship sooner, saying he didn't know how to break up when things clearly weren't working out. Emiru claimed she filed a restraining order against him during the stream on October 25, but Mizkif denied stalking her and added that she wished “what's best for Emi.”
