Based on Hasbro’s recent financial performance for the third quarter of 2025, Magic: The Gathering In particular, sales of the Edge of Eternities set contributed significantly to the growth of the brand. This is good news for the multiverse set, but considering concerns about acquisitions beyond the universe, Magic: The Gathering There has also been a lot of success in crossovers. Although not all players are happy with this direction, and this may manifest itself over the next few years. MTG collabs is set to deliver another crossover with one of the most viral IPs of the year.
with Magic: The Gathering's Avatar set ends the year in November, and with 2026 already packed with releases, it's likely that this new crossover will come in other forms, like Secret Lair drops and/or Commander decks. This is because Netflix and Hasbro recently shared a collaboration. K-Pop Demon Hunter Toys & More (First Exclusive Deals): K-Pop Demon Hunter. No explicit mention MTG It's been made, but considering Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro's approach, it's basically a guarantee for a few reasons:
-
Both Hasbro and Mattel are toy licensees. K-Pop Demon HunterMattel will oversee production of action figures, dolls and more, while Hasbro will provide “immersive new ways to engage through play.”
-
Hasbro's press release specifically states that the company will “leverage the strengths of its iconic portfolio, including HASBRO GAMES, WIZARDS OF THE COAST, NERF and FURBY, to present a variety of compelling collaborations designed to delight fans of all ages.” MTG or D&D Products due to Wizards of the Coast were mentioned.
- Magic: The GatheringLike Play-Doh, the Furby crossover reinforces the idea that Hasbro will use the IP or license to create new cards. K-Pop Demon Hunter Perfect for Secret Lair drops.
- K-Pop Demon HunterHUNTR/X and other characters could be good for a Secret Lair drop exclusive to each of them, the entire main trio, the antagonist, or a Commander deck that encompasses all of these options.
Taking all of this into consideration, it seems like a logical step forward for Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast to create an MTG product themed around KPop Demon Hunters.

MTG x KPop Demon Hunters is a matter of when, not when
The reason is MTG I think the Secret Lair drop is perfect for this type of collaboration in that it allows Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast to work with more urgency, unlike a full-blown set or multiple Commander products. The movie also isn't that massive in terms of lore and characters to justify a bigger crossover like, say, Avatar, which is scheduled to be released in November.
With the thought that K-Pop Demon Hunter cooperate with MTG It's inevitable after Hasbro's recent announcement, and it's worth mentioning that this will likely happen sooner rather than later, given the viral phenomenon that was the movie on Netflix. Nothing has been officially announced yet, but with the collaboration between Netflix and Hasbro just being revealed, it seems reasonable to expect possible news in early 2026. MTGPlayStation Secret Lair Superdrop is coming soon so fans will have to wait.
