All wallpapers look attractive but cost a lot of money. Wallpaper Engine uses a lot of system resources to render certain animations. Fortunately, this software allows users to disable animations. This guide will show you how to do it.

What you need to do is Pause wallpaper in Windows system tray. Here is how to do this by following the mentioned steps:

Start Wallpaper Engine from Steam or desktop icon.
you can find Up arrow icon on the right of Windows taskbar. Click to see the relevant information system tray.
Right-click on the Wallpaper Engine icon. (Gear icon with two boxes). Click Next. pause button To stop all animations

You can also set up a shortcut for this setting so you don't have to use the taskbar every time. To create a shortcut, follow the steps below:

Open wallpaper engine Via Steam or by clicking the desktop icon.
to top rightFind out next settings button and click on it.
When the Settings dialog opens, go to: General tab.
below default settingsLook for it shortcut key and edit button.
Enter a key combination including one of the following: Ctrl, Alt, or Shift by Click the box next to Pause Wallpaper.. Example: Ctrl+Shift+Q.
After setting the shortcut key, click Next. OK button.

To remove a reset or remove a shortcut, click the cross button next to the assigned shortcut. You can also create shortcuts for other interactions with Wallpaper Engine, such as starting the screensaver, taking screenshots, and more.

You can only pause wallpaper while on the desktop.. You can use the same shortcut to restart the animation.

When you start the game, the wallpaper will automatically pause. If you use dynamic wallpapers, they will be automatically paused.
