Capturing Eidolon

This guide won't go too deep into how to hunt Eidolons, but will give you a quick overview of how to capture them. It's a simple four-step process.

  1. Find Teralyst.
  2. Find two Eidolon baits in the world.
  3. Recharge by killing Bombalist near the bait.
    • Charged decoys prevent Teralyst from teleporting.
    • You will need two charged baits to capture the Teralyst when it dies.
  4. Get close to the Teralyst and destroy it.

Eidolons always spawn near water.Usually at Gara Toht Lake or nearby rivers. We recommend using Archwing to quickly navigate the plains. While you search, you may also want to look for: Eidolon Bait At the Grineer outpost. Damage and hack the decoy and it will follow you around for the rest of the battle. Charge at least one decoy before starting a fight.

Bombalists tend to spawn nearby.
Cetus entrance.
If you need to top up your first decoy, take it to the Cetus gate and keep an eye out for the Vomvalyst pack.

Warframe Operator Fighting Teralist

Now that you have a charged bait, continue fighting the Teralyst. Switch to Operator and start damaging the Teralyst with the Amp. You can technically kill this boss using a basic amp, but if you're having a hard time killing it on your own, bring a friend or bolt Warframe. Their Electric Shield ability can actually boost the Operator's amplifier.

Once Eidolon's shield is removed, it's time to break limbs. Switch back to the Warframe and break one of the Teralyst's joints. Weapons that deal with radiation work best here. As long as there is a charged decoy, the Teralyst will not teleport when injured. Switch to Operator and Cloak to avoid incoming scream attacks, then repeat this process until the Teralyst is dead. When captured, it drops Ornate Eidolon Fragments and a random Arcane.
