How to start the Dalaran Epilogue in World of Warcraft: The War Within
story World of Warcraft: The War Within It's still far from over. In addition to the Siren Island update, Season 2 is scheduled to launch in late 2025, which will bring all kinds of new endgame content and the next chapter of the current expansion. That said, part of patch 11.0.7 is a bunch of new story quests that will help set the scene for patch 11.1, which includes the goblin capital of Undermine. There is also a series of quests that will help you conclude the tragic story of Dalaran's destruction, but they are not immediately available.

How to Start the 11.1 Patch Prologue
Unlike the Dalaran Epilogue, the Lingering Shadows campaign can be started right away. You do not need to complete the leveling campaign or the level 80 campaign. If you're not fully invested in the story, want to avoid spoilers, or want more context on what all the characters are talking about, get to know the story first. The Lingering Shadows campaign consists of the following quests:
- the remaining shadows
- price of mission
- stand in the way
- No breathing room
- together, alone
- voice
- a sound rumbling from the depths
- It was a good help these days.
- What's going on?
- confusing and hostile
- Built for explosive performance
- bat vs world
- found a friend
After completing the friend search, be sure to talk to Orweina. Her quest is not part of the campaign, but provides additional information about the plot that will likely appear in a future update to The War Within or one of the other World Soul Saga expansions.
How to start the Dalaran Epilogue in World of Warcraft: The War Within
There is currently a time limit on the Dalaran Epilogue questline. Available on January 7, 2025 according to the in-game timer. In addition to the Time Gate, you will also need to complete a leveling campaign. war within There is also a level 80 campaign that is unlocked by maintaining at least Renown Four status in all four Khaz Algar factions.
If you're unsure whether you've met these criteria, head to the Foundation Hall where you'll begin the prologue quest for the upcoming patch 11.1. When you meet Khadgar, you can receive quests from him starting January 7th. If you don't see him, it means there are still campaign quests to complete. The full list of quests for this campaign will be included below once they become available.
