Although some details of the Intel Core Ultra 200S have been revealed early, Intel has given users a detailed look at the new lineup. In a video presentation hosted by Intel Vice President and General Manager Roger Chandler, Intel confirmed that the Core Ultra 200S processor will be released on Thursday, October 24th. Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, Core Ultra 7 265K, and Core Ultra 5 245K processors include: Integrated graphics, Core Ultra 7 365KF and Core Ultra 245KF are suitable for users with dedicated graphics cards. The Core Ultra 245KF starts at $294, which is $15 less than the 245K's $309 price. The Core Ultra 7 265KF and 265K will be available for $379 and $394 respectively, while the Core Ultra 9 285K will be available for $589.


Intel unveils Core Ultra 200S CPU


As the Core Ultra 200S lineup utilizes the new LGA1851 socket, a variety of Z890 motherboards will also be released from Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, and Asrock. Core Ultra 9 285K includes a total of 24 cores (8 P cores and 16 E cores) with a boost clock speed of up to 5.7 GHz. By comparison, the Core Ultra 245K and 245KF have 14 cores (6 P-cores and 8 E-cores) that can run up to 5.2GHz at boost. The Intel Core Ultra 200S lineup is built with power efficiency in mind, as Intel has stated that the new CPUs will have lower power consumption than the 14th generation Raptor Lake CPUs.


Intel also claimed that the Core Ultra 200S may perform better than AMD's Ryzen 7000 series in programs such as Blender, but slightly worse in games such as: cyberpunk 2077. Only time will tell how many users will give the Core Ultra 200S series a try.
