Today's Sonic Central is now in the books, and in the meantime, we got our best look yet at Sonic Rumble, its release window, a behind-the-scenes look at Sonic 3 (the 2024 movie, not the 1994 game), and a new trailer for Sonic x Shadow Generations, which is coming out exactly one month later. But one of the best reveals was the first look. Two new Sonic Lego sets coming in 2025.
Revealing new sets via skits has become a staple of Sonic Team at this point, and Central’s host brought in a Sonic minifigure to give an update on the new set. The little Lego Sonic was roasting a toy brick marshmallow, which has since been confirmed. Sonic Campfire Clash Set (Thanks Brick Fanatics). The 177-piece set includes a Sonic minifigure, launcher, GUN Hunter and Beetle for Blue Blur to battle, and costs just $19.99.
Ultimately, Shadow’s minifigure was patched into the larger of the two Sonic Lego reveals. This is Shadow’s year, after all, and the love Sega has shown Shadow will extend all the way to 2025. A Lego version of the gloomy hedgehog will be next. Super Shadow vs. Biolizard Set. The set features the first minifigure from the LEGO Sonic collection, and the video shows Shadow transforming into Super Shadow to defeat a massive enemy.

This set also includes the Super Sonic Minifigure for the second time. This set is a must-have for any Lego-loving Sonic fan, especially those who loved the Adventure era of the series. Biolizrad makes a return in Sonic x Shadow Generations as a boss battle taken from Sonic Adventure 2. The Lego version features a weak point that can be targeted at the Minifigure using the launcher included in the set, allowing Sonic and Shadow to dismantle the Biolizard just like in the game.
Two sets released today Available in LEGO stores from January 1, 2025. Not included in today's Sonic Central, there are rumors that a third set will also be released that day, which will mark the debut of a Metal Sonic minifigure. It's odd that it wasn't revealed today whether it would be released on the same day as the other two sets. It could be a sign that Metal Sonic will play a role in Sonic 3, and Sega doesn't want to show off their intentions by revealing that he'll be appearing in a LEGO set a week after the movie's release.
