It feels like only yesterday that Disney made its mark on the trading card world with the unveiling of Lorcana. But here we are looking down the barrel of Whispers in the Well, the 10th set from the hit TCG. Now all about Lorcana's next expansion has been revealed, and it's available for pre-order ahead of its release next month.
As is the case with all Lorcana sets to date, the Whispers in the Well expansion adds 204 new cards to the TCG. The best way to get as many cards as possible at once is to select a booster pack display. The display is Available for pre-order on Amazon for $143.99Includes 24 booster packs, each booster pack containing 12 cards.

If Whispers in the Well is your first foray into the Lorcana TCG, or you just don't want to spend that much on a new set as was the case with previous expansions, this upcoming set has Our very own Illuminer's Trove, available for $49.99. Includes 8 booster packs plus everything you need to start your competitive Lorcana journey, including dice, dispensers, card storage, and more.
Also, pre-orders are live. Single booster pack ($5.99 each)And there are two single-player decks that contain everything you need to play a slightly different version of Lorcana on your own. A very cool concept introduced with the Reign of Jafar expansion, single-player decks have been included in the last three expansions and will likely be part of every set going forward. both The Amber & Emerald deck and Sapphire & Steel deck are available for pre-order for $16.99 each..
As for what exactly is different beyond the cards that Whispers in the Well will introduce, the expansion will introduce a mechanic called Whispers to the TCG. Whispers are a new type of card featuring unformed sparkles torn from damaged Lorcana lore books. Whispers in the Well also includes a new boost mechanic that makes Whispers even more powerful.
As for the characters and Disney IP, Whispers in the Well will mark the debut of Lorcana from Gargoyles and Zootopia, with the latter's sequel hitting theaters on November 26, 2025. The full Whispers in the Well expansion pack will be released on November 14th.
Of course, the Lorcana train does not stop here. The pattern of four expansions per year is set to continue in 2026, and we already know that Winterspell will release in February. Although it's unnamed, we also know that a later set will include the first Pixar Lorcana card.
