In the past, there were eight marriage candidates. HM HSHHowever, with the release of the special edition version, two more characters were added: Ella and Nikolai. The Farmer can request marriage from any companion of his/her choice after Chapter 9. Also, give the candidate his or her favorite gift and talk to him or her every day to increase the affection of the note.

Christina/Justin

Justin or Christina from Harvest Moon Home Sweet Home

birthday: spring 24
Favorite gifts: Strawberry Pansy, Edelweiss and Mushroom Stew

If you choose to start as Christina, Justin will invite you back to Alba, and if you choose Justin, Christina will do the same. Basically, they are childhood friends who help restore the valley to its former glory. They can romance and the player can get married at the end after increasing the affection level of the note. He has a bright and positive personality, which encourages him to do his best without giving up.

Harriet

birthday: summer 7
Favorite gifts: Hibiscus, Aquamarine, Red Fish Sushi

Harriet is the daughter of a local fisherman, who is initially cold and rude, but whom she enjoys romance with as a virgin. As a fisherman, she doesn't see the need to waste time with you because unlike farmers, she is busy fishing and has more things to do. After getting to know her, Harriet stops accusing you of being lazy and starts being more 'tolerant' of the farmers. Eventually, Harriet lets down her guard and begins to open up more to the player with each note event.

braden

birthday: spring 19
Favorite gifts: Marguerite, hot milk, fruit cake

Barden is the son of local carpenter Andy and seamstress Penelope. He is also a childhood friend of the players and greets them warmly every time they pass by. He struggles with carpentry and feels his skills are lacking compared to his father's. This makes Barden worry that he won't be able to handle it in the future. Luckily, as the farmers get to know the single man through special musical note events, they can encourage him and help him slowly discover his talents.

Jeanne

birthday: winter 7
Favorite gifts: clams, agate, milk

Shy journalist Jeanne has lived in Alba all her life and will welcome you back to the valley as another childhood friend. She stutters a lot and is anxious most of the time. After helping to republish the daily newspaper by providing the lumber it needed, she began occasionally interviewing farmers and mentioning them in her articles. The musical note event basically strengthens Jeanne's relationship with the Bachelorette by giving more interviews and spending time together.

hugo

birthday: fall 26
Favorite gifts: Lobster, Diamond, Truffle Meuniere

Hugo worked at a restaurant downtown, then moved to Alba and now runs a restaurant called Piedmont in Alba, which is also where he lives. at some point Harvest Moon: Home Sweet HomeThe restaurant is closed because there seems to be a problem with the locals. The farmers help the bachelor get his business back up and running, and later they will taste test Hugo's new creations, as he loves experimenting with new recipes.

Mallika

Malika from Harvest Moon Home Sweet Home

Mallika does not appear in Alba when the farmers return to their homeland. Instead, it will take some time for the maiden to settle in the village. She comes to Alba looking for a place to stay and opens a gift shop. Simply put, Malika isn't used to having friends to talk to since she's almost always on the go. So opening her heart and falling in love doesn't mean that in her heart she will eventually have to say goodbye. The player can change her mind and encourage her to tell more about herself during the Musical Note event.

Jacques

birthday: winter 26
Favorite gifts: Goldfish, Tanzanite, Vichysoise

Similar to Malika, Jacques is introduced later. HM HSH. I am a college student who came to work part-time to finish my research thesis on agriculture. Being Fredrick's grandson will help you gather information much faster so you can return home since you don't have to stay in Alba. Players can spend time with the bachelor to get used to village life and help him navigate his new life away from the city.
