Updated October 24, 2024 by Andrew Scariati: While some of Shining Fates' best cards have gained some ground since we last checked in, many of the cards in this set are on the decline. These trends ebb and flow over time, but Shining Fates' shiny offering is struggling to hit $5.
Cards are ordered based on TCGplayer's market price, prices subject to change.
12
Yamper (Shiny Holo Rare) – $3.21
Inn by a Nose
This adorable, chubby dog captures our hearts with his tongue sticking out of his mouth and his tail wagging in anticipation. However, Yamper is barely distinguishable from its peers and is in one of the closest battles for set supremacy of all time.
Unfortunately, Yamper's value continues to decline from the $5 plateau. Leaving you in an uncertain free fall that could take you out of the top spot. For now, though, it's still going strong, but needs an increase to maintain its spot among the best Shining Fates cards.
11
Inteleon (Shiny Holo Rare) – $3.84
shining spy
Inteleon has found one of the most expensive cards in Shining Fates. This is because most Shiny Holo Rares, also called “Baby Shinies”, are on a downward trend. However, this trend has given Inteleon the opportunity to move up the rankings and emerge as the best card in Shining Fates.
Although it doesn't compare to some of the other Shining Fates tracking cards, this Inteleon continues to fluctuate in the $3.50 to $4.50 range, providing an opportunity to buy on a downtrend. But we've caught the right moment in that Inteleon is claiming a $4 valuation.
10
Galarian Rapidash (Shiny Holo Rare) – $3.86
everyone loves unicorns
The following list features live Pokémon from the ever-popular My Little Pony series. Galarian Rapidash embodies the fierce and stoic nature of the Kanto region by adding a mystical and magical flair (even a hint of cotton candy). The sparkly form features pastel greens and yellows on full display along with glowing Destiny cards.
Rapidash joined the $5 club but was unable to maintain this record as it is one of Shining Fates' many shiny products that are experiencing a decline in value.
9
Koffing (Shiny Holo Rare) – $3.88
Rolling in the Green
Koffing is one of the many shiny Pokémon available in Shining Fates. This green gas Pokemon is one of the most valuable Shining Fates cards.
But this Koffing and many The best cards in Shining Fates – separated by just a few pennies. This is a very tight race for the most valuable card in Shining Fates.
8
Laboot (Shiny Holo Rare) – $3.92

Typhlosion boasts two of its most valuable cards, two from two precious vintage sets.
Raboot has had its fair share of ups and downs. At one point it stayed near $3 and then peaked near $5. It's a place I hope to settle down again. Only the future will tell, but Raboot may find a permanent home among Shining Fates' best cards.
7
Eternatus VMAX (Shiny Holo Rare) – $3.96
black and gold mess
Eternatus VMAX occupies one of the following positions: The most valuable Shining Fates cards, Eternatus' complex body doesn't seem ready to win many beauty contests, as it provides a confusing canvas for its predominantly black color palette.
If you like Pokemon, you'll love this card, but it's not easy to appreciate Eternatus in the picture.
Eternatus is another card that's currently trending in Shining Fates, and many of the top cards have seen their prices drop since we last checked in. However, these moments can only be fleeting, so don't put too much into where each card is. Current location.
6
Alcremie VMAX (Shiny Holo Rare) – $4.10
rising cake
Alcremie surprisingly made its way into the most expensive Shining Fates cards, alongside Pokémon like Koffing. Most Pokémon are separated by the thinnest of margins, and even those that follow boast a small lead over each other.
While some of the most valuable cards in the set, such as Battle Styles, feature a valuable collection of alternate art, Shining Fates primarily boasts shiny Pokémon, making Alcremie's placement a bit unusual. This card could fall out of the top ranks in an instant, but Alcremie boasts a beautiful rainbow secret rare color palette.
5
Ditto VMAX (Shiny Holo Rare) – $4.26
Beloved Blue Blob
Like most VMAX cards, the Ditto VMAX looks like a blue science experiment gone wrong that takes up most of the card's overall art space. The background is barely visible behind the sprawling Ditto piece, save for a few sparkles.

Pokemon TCG: 7 Most Valuable Ursaruna Cards
Ursaluna's Pokemon TCG career is just beginning, and it's her best card so far.

4
Galarian Ponyta (Shiny Holo Rare) – $4.47
One of the popular ponytas
The pre-evolved form of Galarian Rapidash is a few cents ahead, continuing the trend of all cards floating within a few cents of each other. The $5 mark is an important target for this shiny Pokémon, and Galarian Ponyta refuses to go down. After it had already fallen from $8.
This Shiny Pokémon barely misses the top three, but isn't valuable enough to secure a permanent spot, but considering Ponyta's potential price, it will remain one of the most expensive Shining Fates cards.
3
Skyla (full art) – $7.38
sky high finish
Pokemon fans who like the series from a nostalgic standpoint may not know who Skyla is. He is a charismatic flying type gym leader who appears in Pokémon Black & White and Black & White 2 and appears in Mistralton City.
In Shining Fates, she received a full art trainer card showing off the amazing art of the high-flying trainer, making it one of the best cards in the series.
2
Suicune (Shiny Holo Rare) – $7.54
Legendary Pokémon are part of a franchise that helps build the unique value of a property. These creatures tend to be mystical or ancient and possess incredible powers. Suicune is one of three legendary dogs from the Johto region that appears in Pokémon Silver & Gold.
One of the best cards in the Shining Fates set, Shining is currently worth just under $10. Suicune's shimmering form makes the majestic beast completely blue, as its mane is no longer a deep violet-purple, but a powdery blue.
1
Charizard VMAX (Shiny Holo Rare) – $83.75
Climb to the top of the burning throne again
It's no surprise that the most expensive and popular card in the Pokemon Shining Fates expansion set is the Charizard card. The Charizard VMAX card features the sparkling Charizard, a black-scaled beauty that stands head and shoulders above its peers.
Charizard often causes the prices of many of its sets to skyrocket, as collectors do their best to get their hands on the beloved Fire-type Pokémon starters.
