My Hero Academia: All Class 1-A Students, Rankings

Who is the best student in My Hero Academia Class 1-A?

But with that being said, it's time to look back at all the seasons of the show so far. The series captivated with its intriguing plot and diverse characters, whose stories were told well throughout the seven seasons. My Hero Academia does fantastic work every season, but we're ranking them all to see which are the best of the best.

7

season 5

Unlike other seasons, season 5 was relatively poor. We got some amazing moments like Himiko Toga's Quirk evolution, Shigaraki's origin, and Shinso's action, but at times the story felt slow and aimless.

Moreover, there was very little tension throughout the season and it felt like the calm before the storm (which is understandable considering the events of Season 6). The final episode was also extremely dull compared to other season finales, and instead of ending with a bang, it felt really confusing.

6

season 1

The first season of the show did a great job of introducing us to the world of Quirks, Pro-Heroes, and Villains. We are immediately immersed in the life of protagonist Izuku Midoriya, his daily struggle to become Quirkless, and the life-changing moment of receiving All Might's recognition and receiving One For All.

Overall, this season was a good prep season that builds the foundation for future conflicts in the series. USJ Arc maintained suspense until the ending and moments that foreshadowed what was to come. Even though the first season only had 13 episodes, compared to the subsequent 25 episodes, this season did a great job of keeping you hooked.

5

season 3

Season 3 has both high points and low points. Training Camp Arc was a fun ride, a light-hearted adventure that quickly turned into a life-or-death situation. This momentum is maintained through the League of Villains' invasion of their lair, Bakugo's rescue, and an impactful and anticipated rematch between All Might and All For One.

Although character growth and improvement occurs during the Hero License Trial, this arc feels slow and unnecessarily dragged out, pales in comparison to the high stakes and high adrenaline of the previous arc. But this was still a solid season full of unforgettable moments.

4

season 4

Season 4 is a season filled with epic, intense battles, character complexity, and high stakes. The story shows how much the students of Class 1-A have developed as they deal with Shie Hassaikai and have Tomura Shigaraki as their leader. Not only does Overhaul feature a compelling villain, but the highly emotional final fight between Deku, Eri, and Overhaul is one for the ages.

My Hero Academia: All Movies, Ranking

The My Hero Academia movies are fantastic, but which one is the best?

The ongoing conflict between Gentle Criminal and Deku felt a bit flat, but the school festival arc was a nice, comforting treat amidst all the chaos. But where Season 4 really shined in the finale. The powerful and profound battle between Endeavor and the advanced Nomu provides another turning point for this extremely complex character.

3

season 2

Season 2 begins and ends with polished, cinematic combat and character development. The sports competition episode did a great job of capturing the excitement and fun of fierce battle royale competition that takes place in real life. Characters like Todoroki Shouto and Uraraka Ochako are explored more and given proper time to shine.

This season's story is a balanced mix of conflict and moments of levity, keeping you on your toes throughout. The villains become bolder, and our would-be heroes face off against the powerful Stain, whose ideology has shaken hero society to its core. Ultimately, Season 2 was really enjoyable to watch.

2

season 6

Season 6 brings endless shocking twists, losses, and triumphs as we see our heroes reach their lowest point. We see other heroes taking the spotlight, with Mirko's actions being truly fantastic and moving. The Heroes storm the Zaku Hospital and capture All For One's right arm, and although they appear to have the upper hand, the Villains turn the tide with the overwhelming power of Gigantomachia and Shigaraki.

The reveal of Dabi's identity is also the high point of the season, a nice payoff to what has been built up and hinted at throughout the Todoroki family storyline. The season also did a great job of depicting Deku's darkest point and the increasing despair and anarchy of Quirk-Era Japan.

1

season 7

This season of My Hero Academia begins by continuing the momentum of the previous game. A brief but intense and violent clash occurs between Tomura Shigaraki/All For One and American heroes Star and Stripe. What follows is a fantastic endless action sequence that hits all the highs when it comes to rewards and character development.

The Todoroki family's combined efforts to save Dabi come to a bittersweet ending, and the heroes fight desperately to win. Toga Himko brings her arc to a satisfying close, and All Might shows that he's not one to back down from action by basically transforming himself into Iron Man to fight his old enemy and ending the season with a bang. Season 7 is a promising sign of what's to come in the final season, and it's one we can't wait to see.
