Pokemon Pocket: 10 Best Cards from the Mythical Island
You'll want to get your hands on a lot of this card, as it's the best card from Pokemon Pocket's Mystical Island expansion.
This set features Pokémon that can use the strategies implemented by other types with Electric-focused decks. Some Pokémon also power other Pokémon that existed during the Genetic Apex. Luckily, there are no fools in the Electric lineup that would make you question which Electric Pokémon is the king of the Mythical Island.
6
Dedenne
Move next to Pincherchin
Of all the Electric Pokémon added to Mythical Island, Dedenne has the least purpose, but still offers incredible value. Dedenne is a secretly powerful Pokémon that puts Pinchurchin to shame. Dedenne has 60 HP and a retreat cost of 1, making it an easy Pokémon to replace if it takes too much damage. However, what makes it a great replacement for Pinchurchin is that it only requires one electrical energy to initiate the coin toss for the paralysis effect.
This makes it an incredibly quick option for stun decks that want to prevent the opponent from switching Pokemon or using them for attacks. This Pokémon works best in decks that have multiple ways to stun it, such as the sleep effect. This is because the chance of your opponent missing on the next turn increases. This is a fun card that is great to use in anti-meta and rogue decks.
5
Electabuzz
A replacement for Zebstrika?
Electabuzz found on Mythical Island no longer relies on coin tosses to perform its moves. Instead, Electabuzz can deal 40 true damage for 2 Energy. At 70 HP, it retains the durability of its previous incarnation. The main benefit of using this Electabuzz is that it gives you a way to reach the bench without having to evolve one of your Pokémon first.

All cards in Pokemon Pocket: Mythical Island, rankings
Ex Pokemon is one of the most powerful cards in Pokemon Pocket, and these cards from Mythical Island are all pretty good.
Thunder Spear deals 40 damage to one opponent's Pokemon. This specific phrase allows you to attack a Pokémon that is right in front of you or on the bench. This therefore provides new options for electric decks. Do you want the option to hit the bench without allocating four slots to the Zebstrika line, or do you want Electabuzz to have the opportunity to hit twice as hard? Electabuzz is the perfect card for deck variety.
4
pikachu
Pokemon's Favorite Rat
Mythical Island includes a new interpretation of Pikachu that is better than the previous basic Pikachu. These cards have a different art style and are potentially more powerful. Circle Circuit deals 10 damage to each benched Pokemon. This is the same rule that Pikachu ex follows, albeit less powerful. However, you don't want to use this card as a replacement for Pikachu ex, but as a supplement to your Raichu deck.
However, Mythic Island Pikachu can potentially do 10 times more damage than a basic Pikachu for the same cost of 1 energy. Since Electric decks revolve around having multiple Pokémon on the bench, this Pikachi fits naturally into some of the best Electric strategies. This move can also deal enough damage to easily take down water Pokemon like Staryu by exploiting their weaknesses.
3
Raichu
Send shockwaves throughout the scene
Raichu may not be able to take down your opponent's strongest Pokemon in one go, but it has fantastic multi-damage moves that not only bite the active Pokemon, but also spread damage across the bench. If you thought Articuno's 10 damage across your entire bench was powerful, you'll be happy to know that Raichu can deal 20 damage across your entire bench.

Pokemon Pocket: 8 Best Electric-Type Cards
Here are the best Electric-type cards in Pokemon TCG Pocket!
Gigashock is also a 60 damage move, allowing it to take down most basic Pokémon in one attack. Raichu cards are Lt. This means it is compatible with Surge Supporter. This means it can transfer energy from other Electric Pokémon on the bench. This makes accessing Gigashock fairly simple and weakens your opponent's Pokémon enough to be taken down by the rest of Electric's entourage.
2
Joltik
Basic Pokemon Killer
Joltik trades HP for power. It only has 40 HP, but Bug Bite allows it to deal 30 damage with one energy. This makes Joltick a very powerful Pokémon to start with, whether you're starting against a water deck or a deck looking to take advantage of Pidgeotto's massive damage output. In fact, Joltik can shut down Pidgey in one go if he applies Weakness. It can also put Staryu in a world of pain, something that many Basic Electric Pokémon would have a hard time doing without Giovanni's help.
Joltik may be a small Pokémon, but its stats don't lie. It's a big shock. Joltik also evolves into one of the more unique Electric Pokemon in the Pokemon Pocket lineup. Make sure the Pokémon you're fighting isn't cornering Joltik before it evolves into a more powerful form.
1
galvantula
Catch your opponent on the web
Mythical Island knocks it out of the park with its Electric Pokemon selection. Evolving Joltik will allow you to use Galvantula for some seriously evil strategies. Galvantula's Electroweb costs 2 energy to use but has a hit rate of 70. It also freezes your opponent's Pokemon in place for the next turn. If this sounds familiar, it's because it performs the same function as Arbok from Genetic Apex.
Galvantula is a neat option for Genetic Apex's Pidgeot strategy if you want to use Electric as your typing instead of Darkness. Electroweb helps even more as it gives players more options to easily retreat Pokemon using Leaf in addition to X Speed. So if Galvantula has no energy and sinks its teeth into a heavy Pokemon without a costly retreat, it can easily score points by keeping the board locked.
