Natlan Artifact Farming Route In Genshin Impact

Whether you’re a new player or veteran, there are often instances where Genshin Impact players require artifact fodder to help ascend their 5-star artifacts. This fodder can be found across every region in Teyvat, but Natlan includes some extra spots that other regions don’t have.

This is because of the additional mechanics that are regional to Natlan only and Genshin Impact players will need certain Natlan characters for this route. The artifacts in the region mainly cover Coatepec Mountain, Basin of Unnumbered Flames, Tezcatepetonco Range, Quahuacan Cliff, and Ochkanatlan.

Natlan Artifact Farming Route

The route takes around 30 mins, but you can shorten the amount of time by using Anemo characters to increase speed and Natlan characters to cover distance. It’s ideal to use characters like Chasca, Ororon, Citlali, Kinich, Wanderer, and Xianyun.

Stadium of the Sacred Flame Artifact Route

The route first starts over at the Stadium of the Sacred Flame and you need to teleport to the waypoint next to the Adventurer’s Guild.

• Head straight and go towards the boxes you see on your right. They will be directly parallel to the wall that Katheryne is behind. You can collect some artifacts here.
• Now, head past Katheryne and go to the other end of the floor (by the pillar on the left) towards these blue paint barrels. You’ll find a glowing spot there with some artifacts to collect.
• This next route will take you to the teleport waypoint east of the Stadium. Since you’re up on the tower, turn left and drop to the deck below you. There will be some boxes with investigation spots, and you can grab 2–3 artifacts here.
• From the deck, turn around and go behind the tower to glide down towards these two Yumkasaurus that you see. You’ll see them surrounding a Thick-Feathered Pheasant over a patch of dirt. The pheasant will be camouflaging itself as a flower, so just go up to it and touch it so that the investigation spot appears.

Sulfurous Veins Artifact Route

• Head to the teleport waypoint north of Sulfurous Veins and head left across the hill towards the indicated point. You need to pass this white skeleton until you come towards a bush hiding two pheasants. Interact with them to reveal the investigation and you can grab some artifacts here.
• This location is a short run and glide from the previous one. You need to turn around and head off the mountain towards the one in front of you. Go past an enemy camp and towards the far edge to find another pheasant near these Yumkasaurus. Interact with it to get the artifact.

Tequemecan Valley Artifact Route

Although Tequemecan Valley is a whole sub-region, this route will only cover the ‘valley’ that players see below Sulfurous Veins.

• Teleport to the waypoint in the middle of Tequemecan Valley (this is the one north of the domain), and turn around to find a pheasant. It’ll be directly across from the teleport waypoint, so just interact with it to get the artifact.
• Now from here, you need to head upstream and towards the small waterfall at the other end. Go past everything and once you reach the top, look near the riverbank on your right to find another pheasant. Interact with it to get the artifact.
• Now go straight and look to your left to spot the next pheasant. It’ll be near a Yumkasaurus.

This area is partially quest locked, but you can still enter it to claim the artifacts. There is a chance you’ll be forced into the World Quest if you haven’t done it.

• Use the underground waypoint indicated in the image above and head down the stairs to your left to find the first few artifacts. They will be inside these metal boxes.
• For this part, make sure you have a character that can take you up to the next level; Kinich, Chasca, Chiori, or Kazuha would be great. You need to aim for the tiny deck on the pipe. There will be some investigation spots on the boxes, and you can claim some artifacts there.
• Now glide off and go past the lava drip towards the entrance to the upper level. It’ll be on the right. There will be these boxes on the left with investigation spots.
• Head further inside the tunnel and you’ll come to a tent with some more metal boxes.
• After collecting the ones near the tent, drop to the lower level to find another metal box with some more artifacts.

Scions of the Canopy Artifact Route

Make sure you’ve unlocked the Reputation waypoint for the Scions of the Canopy before taking this route.

• After teleporting there, head straight and drop off the ledge to fly towards the indicated marker. You’re looking for these pheasants all lined up in a row. The pheasant furthest away (on the right) is the only one which gives an artifact. The middle one gives crystalflies and the other one is a whopperflower.

Masters of the Night-Wind Artifact Route

The Masters of the Night-Wind route is relatively simple, but it does involve using characters from this tribe. The route includes Nightspirit Sigils, which can only be easily obtained using either Citlali or Ororon. You can use an Iktomisaurus, but be mindful that flying all the way up does take time.

• The route starts over at the teleport waypoint southwest of the Statue of Seven. Head right from there to find a box below you with an investigation spot.
• Now, turn around and head up the mountain towards this small hole. Just run around the area and you’ll be able to collect around 5–8 artifacts here.
• Now, teleport to the waypoint west of the previous one (right next to the training grounds) and head left towards the mountain in front of you. You can use the Qucusaurus indwell to take you up and then fly back to the location. Once you’re on the mountain, head towards the pheasant to interact with it.
• Now teleport to the Statue of Seven and jump off the cliff in front of you. Stay close to the wall and look below for a small opening into a cave. This is the cave where players will use the Obsidian Ring to obtain 5-star artifacts. However, the fodder you’re looking for will be in a box on the outside.
• Once you unlock the cave, you can head inside on another day and grab some 2 artifact fodder from the boxes inside as well.
• Teleport to the waypoint at the very top of the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe and jump off the ledge in front of you. You need to drop halfway down and keep an eye out for the Nightspirit Sigils under the rock. You can use Ororon or Citlali’s skills here to easily grab it. There are three in the area.
• Once you’ve collected the three Nightspirit Sigils, glide around and head east on the map in the direction of the stream. Keep to your right and look out for this wooden deck with an enemy standing on it. The Nightspirit Sigil will be located on top of a rock near her.
• After grabbing that, head further downstream to find a yellow flag with a Nightspirit Sigil right next to it.
• After collecting that, keep going straight towards this tree log to find the final Nightspirit Sigil in the area.
• These next ones are accessible through the teleport waypoint southeast of Quahuacan Cliff. You need to turn right and glide off the edge to the mountain below. You’ll see a broken caravan and the Nightspirit Sigils will be on top of it.
• From there, jump off the next cliff behind you and fly close to the wall to find this next Nightspirit Sigil on a tiny ledge.

North of Flower-Feather Clan Artifact Route

• This route starts off at the northern waypoint from the Flower-Feather Clan. You need to head straight towards Ochkanatlan and right after you cross the first wooden bridge, look to your left for some boxes. The boxes will have an investigation point.
• Head past the hilichurls and on your right you’ll see another box with an investigation point.
• After that, go straight again and on your left you’ll see another box with an investigation.
• From here on out, you’ll need a Natlan or Anemo character to help you travel between the island formations. You need to head left off the island you’re on and towards the one in the distance. The first set of artifacts can be found near a box to the right of the island formation. The next set can be found if you turn around and head towards the edge. There will be a box with an investigation spot.
• Next, glide off the ledge and head south on the map to the next island formation. Go past the Qucusaurus and behind the Phlogiston Device, you’ll see a box with an investigation spot. You can grab 2 artifacts here.
• Then, head towards the other end to find another wooden box with an investigation spot.
• From the previous position, keep heading south on the map to the next island. This one will have a wooden deck jutting out from the left. You’ll find some boxes there with investigation spots to claim.
• Go towards the cage on the right and behind it, you’ll find more boxes with investigation points.
• Now if you look across (behind the cage), you’ll see the next island formation you need to head towards. There will be some stone near a wooden deck and right next to them will be some boxes with investigation spots.
• After collecting all of that, jump off the wooden deck and go all the way down to find a small hut with some barrels and boxes. There will be an investigation spot there.

Ochkanatlan Artifact Farming Route

Make sure you unlock the entirety of Ochkanatlan when taking this route so that it’s easier to travel between points.

• Start off by teleporting to the Statue of Seven and just run around the Statue to find glowing spots on the ground. You’ll be able to grab around three artifacts here.
• Leave through the small hole, turn left and go along the edge to the other side. Now climb the tower, and you’ll see a wooden box on the ledge. It’ll have an investigation point with some artifacts to collect.
• From the previous point, turn around and head all the way down to the shoreline and glide across to find a wooden box with an investigation point.
• Next, turn around and head towards another wooden box diagonal to it. There will be an investigation on that.
• From there, head straight past the Ruin Guard and towards another wooden with an investigation point.
• After collecting the previous one, keep going straight and you’ll find another wooden box. This entire route will have multiple wooden boxes with investigation points, and this next one will be directly opposite the previously obtained one.
• Next up, go through the archway and past the other Ruin Guard. Stick to your right since this wooden box will be near this rock formation.
• Head over to the Furnace of Fiery Embers teleport waypoint, turn around and go left towards the wooden boxes near the steps. There’ll be an investigation point there and on the inactive Ruin Guard opposite it.
• Head to the opposite side to the other inactive Ruin Guard and interact with the investigation point to get another artifact.
• Head back in the direction of the teleport waypoint, but stick to your left as this next investigation point is located on another box. From there, jump towards the Ruin Guard behind it and interact with the glowing spot to get another artifact.
• Now that you’ve claimed all the artifacts at the top of the island, glide down to the shore to find some boxes next to the Phlogiston Device. There will be an investigation point there, and you’ll be able to collect 3 artifacts.

• Head to the teleport waypoint west of the Tonatiuh marker and head up the stairs to your left. Once you reach the top, immediately jump off and head towards the first ledge you see below it. There will be a Nightspirit Sigil to claim there.
• The next Nightspirit Sigil will be directly below the previous one and to the right of you.
• After collecting the previous artifacts, teleport to the first waypoint located north of you and head down towards this rock in the middle of the water. At the top of it you will find a Nightspirit Sigil to claim.

• Once you’ve obtained that, head along the shoreline towards a ruin to find another Nightspirit Sigil. This one will be near an Iktomisaurus- so you can always indwell it to claim it in case you don’t have Citlali or Ororon.
• Now teleport to the waypoint to the far north and look left to find a Nightspirit Sigil on top of a floating rock.
• The final route will be on the Isle of Tozoz, so make sure you complete the necessary quests to unlock it. You need to teleport to the waypoint there and head straight to find the first artifacts in these wooden boxes near the open area. You can then head around the bridge to find the rest of them by interacting with the other two glowing spots.
