S grade selection
These archetypes feature time-tested weapons, good stat synergies, and trade skill bonuses that are essential for the endgame. It stands out as the best and unique option to stay ahead of the competition.
soldier
First, both weapons share the same stat scaling, strength, and agility. that hatchet In New World, it stands out as a very powerful and capable weapon, especially in solo leveling. Its versatility shines in both close and ranged combat. One of the reasons this is so powerful is Berserk Abilities. This skill increases damage output, removes all stuns and bleeding, increases movement speed and even increases damage output. steal life. that sword and shield Provides a good balance between offense and defense. However, it has lower attack power compared to other weapons.
- Trade Skills: Weapon manufacturing, mining, smelting
for trade skillsYou can't get any better than these three. They are the highest tier because they can craft the best weapons at the highest level, as well as collect and refine materials to become self-sufficient through mining and smelting.
ranger
The Spear is an S-tier weapon in its own right, ideal for players looking for crowd control and damage over time. It's great at bleeding and stacking debuffs on enemies, making it a powerful weapon in long-distance combat. Spears are not only great for damaging a single target, but they can also disrupt enemy forces.
that curtsey This is a good ranged weapon for players who want to keep their distance. The AOE ability is great for crowd control and the single target damage is reliable. But it requires good aim and timing. Another great advantage of this weapon is that it is both. Scales well with Dexterity.
- Trade Skills: Engineering, logging, woodcuts
I like logging and woodcuts. Making gold early in the gameEngineering provides ways to craft some weapons as well as useful tools for other professions.
A Tier Selection
This archetype also has good stat synergies and decent weapon skills, but trading skills isn't the best choice.
destroyer
Both of these weapons scale with power, making them great choices. This combo is one of the best choices for PvP and can be found in most co-op groups.
that great ax It earns its place due to its devastating amount of damage. A solid choice for players who prefer heavy, crushing hits. AOE abilities are useful for disposing of enemy forces, but may not offer survivability in prolonged fights. that war hammer A slow but powerful weapon specializing in crowd control. It's useful for stunning and controlling enemies, but its lack of mobility and slow attack speed makes it unsuitable for solo play.
- Trade Skills: Armor, skinning, leatherworking
As for trade skills, you can craft a lot of useful equipment through armor and leatherworking. Skinning can provide most of the raw materials you need.
occultist
The Ice Gauntlet and Fire Staff both expand on Intellect. that ice gauntlet Provides powerful crowd control and utility abilities. It's useful for slowing down enemies and controlling the battlefield, but its damage isn't as high as other weapons. that firefighting staff It can deal high damage from a distance, but its lack of defensive options makes it unsuitable for solo players who can't afford to take too much damage.
- Trade Skills: Jewelry cutting, mining, stoneworking
The trade skill bonus here makes it an excellent choice for collecting and crafting gems, rings, and amulets. This class is also a solid choice to earn gold at max level.
musketeer
Muskets and Rapiers both scale with Dexterity and Intelligence, so this is definitely a positive. that rapier It is an agile weapon with fast attack speed and powerful counter. Excellent at hit-and-run tactics, allowing you to avoid damage while delivering consistent attacks. The lack of AOE options limits its use in group battles.
that musket It can inflict good damage at long distances, but requires accuracy and long reload times. Due to the musket's slow speed, managing multiple enemies can also be difficult. Overall, this combo is a great fit for a single target playstyle.
- Trade Skills: Armoring, Harvesting, Weaving
The trade skill bonuses here work very well, providing a nice boost to procuring materials and refining them into crafts.
mystic
The Staff of Life extends from the Focus, the Void Gauntlets extend from the Intelligence first, and the Focus second. A classic healer best suited for group play. that living staff Its healing and support abilities make it fantastic for group play, but it lacks any real offensive capabilities. that Void Gauntlets It offers debuffs and utilities, but lacks the base damage output of other weapons.
- Trade Skills: Arcana, Harvest, Weaving
Although the trading skills aren't particularly interesting arcana Definitely useful for crafting important consumables and some weapons. Harvesting and weaving go hand in hand, but crafted crafts aren't the most sought after in the endgame.
B Tier Selection
It's still a good choice as a weapon, my lord, but the trade skills leave something to be desired.
sword soldier
It's worth mentioning that these two weapons go very well together. that bayonet One of the best weapons that can deal significant damage and remain mobile. Although it is slower than other weapons, its AOE (area of effect) ability can be used to take down enemies efficiently. that blunderbuss It deals solid damage at close range, but struggles at long range. Explosive damage is great for solo combat, but requires careful positioning.
- Trade Skills: Cooking, fishing, leatherworking
So you might be wondering why Swordbearer is at the bottom of this list. bad. transaction. technology. Leatherworking is okay, but it doesn't require gathering or smelting trade skills. Cooking is a profession that almost every player will level up at some point, but it's not absolutely necessary. Fishing is not yet considered worthwhile.
