JENIN, Palestinian Authority: A Palestinian woman died on Monday from injuries sustained while in Israeli custody two months ago, authorities in the occupied West Bank said. “Wafaa Jarrar, a former detainee from Jenin, 50, died on Monday morning at the Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin from very serious injuries sustained during her arrest,” the Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Former Detainees said. When approached by AFP, the Israeli military said it was investigating the matter.
