SINGAPORE: Pope Francis left Timor-Leste on Wednesday for Singapore, the final leg of a grueling 12-day Asia-Pacific tour that has seen him fly from one of the world's poorest regions to one of its wealthiest. The marathon four-nation trip has already taken him to Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, but the 87-year-old pontiff appeared in good spirits throughout despite health concerns. The official departure ceremony took place at the capital Dili airport, and the pope's plane took off for the Southeast Asian city-state just after 12.25pm local time (3.25am GMT).
