JAGEX's CEO, who was appointed in March, recently posted on the developer's internal bulletin board that a 2025 Pride Moon celebration was canceled in RunesCape and Old School Runescape.
JAGEX has been operating the Pride Dal Event and LGBTQ+ Charity for many years to host the in -game march. So there was a backlash in the studio when the announcement was made that the celebration was canceled in 2025. Developers argued that this work has already been completed and it has not been much time to implement, and the decision was made to focus on “what the player wants” by refuting Bellamy's claim. Some developers even volunteered to finish their work at their time, but they were rejected.

Pride's story comes back, but without new content
