HOLLOW KNIGHT: Silksong is much more cruel than any of we expected, and it seems to be more negative than expected because it is more difficult.
While waiting for Hollow Knight: Silksong for the past six years, we don't actually know about the game. We saw some of the world's characters and parts, but Team Cherry was very quiet about what could be expected in the sequel. Now we all have the opportunity to dive earlier this week, so what we can expect pain.
As you can be sure that almost everyone has learned so far, Silksong is much more difficult than the original game in almost every way. The platform is much more complicated (especially with diagonal bounce), and some enemies are twice as big as they are, and the game seems to always bring you to small tricks and traps. It is a lot and it seems too much for some players.
Silk songs can actually be too difficult for their own benefit.

In Hollow Knight Subredit, Peaky_circus shared a post that Silksong had a much more negative review than the original game at the time of this writing. If you look at negative reviews quickly, you can see why you are criticized a little more than the original game.
There are currently nearly 20,000 negative reviews about Hollow Knight: Silksong. Maximum Among them, we are trying to go beyond a huge moment in the game, and there are some legitimate complaints. Almost everyone is focusing on the cruel difficulties of the game, and many say that the game is simply unfair.
Most of the complaints are previously emphasized, such as double nail trading and demanding platforms, but there are also mentions of the “scarcity” calls, overwhelming boss battle, and even Charm systems.

All these problems work together to make Silksong much more punished, and it seems too much for some players. One of the steam reviews of the user Hotel Wi -Fi is, “I absolutely like Hollow Knight and I want to like Silksong. Honestly challenges are too many.”
