However, due to limited demand, scalping efforts seemed to backfire and the price began to fall towards full price. As more PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary Edition stock arrives soon, these prices may continue to normalize.

A new report compares sales of Sony's recently launched PlayStation 5 Pro to that of the PlayStation 4 Pro, which launched in 2016.

According to the console's PlayStation Direct store page, Sony will be restocking the PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary Limited Edition console on Thursday, November 21 at 9 AM PT. Due to high demand, customers will be limited to one console per order, and consoles are expected to sell out very quickly that morning. The price is still set at $499.99, and the console comes bundled with a limited edition DualSense 30th Anniversary controller, a limited edition console cover for the disc drive, a USB cable with original PlayStation-style housing, and several PlayStation-themed accessories, including: Stickers and posters. It's worth noting that, despite the disc drive cover being included in the console bundle, you'll need to purchase the disc drive separately.

The controller costs $219.99, which is $20 more than the original white DualSense Edge controller. It includes the same accessories as the regular DualSense Edge. However, the included carrying case is gray to match the color scheme of the 30th Anniversary Collection. As with the PS5 Slim console, customers can only purchase one 30th Anniversary Limited Edition DualSense Edge Wireless Controller per order.

However, it looks like the PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary Limited Edition bundle will not be restocked on the PlayStation Direct store. Unlike the PS5 Slim variant, no restock announcement has been provided for the launch of the new PS5 Pro console on November 21, so it's likely that it won't continue to be available.
