The launch of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl wasn't as smooth as GSC Game World had hoped. The PC version of the game is currently plagued by bugs and performance issues, but that hasn't stopped longtime fans from enjoying it. The developers did their best to fix the issue, but the community had already taken matters into their own hands.

Stalker 2 will disappoint many people. And that's a good thing.
This is not your typical open world game.
Performance issues and bugs have already resulted in a number of player-created mods, but the community is finding ways to fix other issues. It seems like someone has found a way to deal with Stalker 2's broken economic system, and it's much easier than installing a mod.
How to get the real value of an item in Stalker 2
Aside from performance issues and general stutter, one of the features players complain about the most is the economy system. The game doesn't seem to offer enough rewards to repair weapons and armor. Selling items does not earn many credits, so players are forced to throw them away instead of fixing them.
However, one player appears to have found a workaround and it's quite simple. You may have noticed that every time you try to sell an item, its value goes much lower. Reddit user IronChumbo stumbled upon a way to get you a fair price. A video on Reddit also explains it in detail.
The method is very simple.
– Add the products you want to sell to the merchant's 'Sell' window, but don't click 'Confirm' yet.
– The amount you will earn is displayed at the bottom, but it is not that much at the moment.
– Then simply right-click on the item in the 'Sales' window and hover over the 'Remove' prompt.
– You can see the value at the bottom rising.
GSC Game World will work to solve this problem and the overall economic problem. But if you don't want to wait until then, this method will help you get a good price to sell your item. It's still unclear whether this is an exploit or a bug, but if you're low on cash in the Zone, this might help.
Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is the long-awaited sequel to the apocalyptic first-person shooter. As a Stalker, you must venture into deadly no-go zones and battle mutants and warring factions alike in search of precious artifacts.
