Temtem's best early team

summation

  • Temtem offers unique synergies that greatly impact gameplay, affecting movement priority and damage.

  • Houchic is an excellent starter choice with high special attack, making him effective against neutral types early on.

  • Ganki is the best early Temtem to catch, making it excellent for type matchups and ensuring victory in your first Dojo battle.

temtem This is a great candidate for fans looking for a good game in the Monster Taming subgenre. The Temtem throws two Temtems at a time, and the movements of these creatures can actually change depending on their teammates. This comes in the form of synergy. Players will want the best starting team for their first few dojos, and can get all the Temtems they need right on the first island.

Pokemon Clone Temtem Gets Official Nuzlocke Mod

Temtem's update 1.3 brings a wealth of new content, from challenge modes to new areas including the official Nuzlocke mode.

Synergies can change movement priorities, increase damage, and even change movement types. This is very important in determining who is on your team. Although none of the starters are effective against the first three dojo types, there are plenty of wild temems you can get in the first few areas to dominate the early part of the game.

Huchichi

The perfect starter to choose from

Temtem Best Early Team Huchichi

Houchic is a phenomenal Temtem from start to finish. Houchic's final evolution has one of the highest special attack stats in the entire game, making it one of the best spirit temtems overall. In the early part of the game, players will encounter many neutral types that are only weak to Mental Temtem.

This will allow Houchic to gain enough experience to take down the most powerful Temtem. This tanky Temtem will be thrown at them during the tougher trainer battles. Players will encounter numerous Skail and Saipat while in Windward Fort, and Houchic will make short work of both. This will make it much easier to get your first dojo leader. Additionally, here players can catch two of the other Temtems on this list. Houchic later becomes a Spirit/Water dual type, allowing him to apply more types. Of all the game starters, Houchic is the best option.

Kaku

Tanky Temtem with various options

Temtem Best Early Team Kaku

Players will also need a good nature type Temtem. The two best options for your team early in the game are Saku and Loali. Roali may have higher attack power, but her poor HP and defense means she won't be able to last long. This makes it less viable in Dojo battles. On the other hand, Saku's HP and defense are quite high, and his special defense is slightly lower than Roali's.

Topic: How to Beat Lochburg Dojo

In Temtem, you can defeat Murdag of the Lochburg Dojo with a few simple preparations.

Saku evolves from Kaku, which can be caught on the first path after leaving the starting village. Keep training this Temtem to help take down early dojos thanks to its wide elemental coverage. These are all physical attacks using attack abilities. Kaku deals with wind, poison, nature, and even has mental attacks. It's an amazing early Temtem and has firmly established itself as one of the best Nature Temtems overall.

Ganki

Take control of the first dojo single-handedly

Temtem's best early team Ganki

Ganki is one of two Electric Temtem players can obtain before starting their first Dojo. Electric Temtem is the only one that has type efficiency for all four elements. Thanks to the type match of Electric and Wind, the only threat is Crystal Temem. This isn't a frequent threat early on, and players will only have to worry about it later in the game. Electric Temtem can make the first dojo battle ordinary and give players a surfboard.

Players will spend most of the game traversing water, which almost always harbors wild Temtems. Water Temtem is weak to electric attacks. It is recommended that players use multiple Electric Temtems during the early parts of the game. Players can select this Temtem from Windward Fort before the first Dojo. With an opening round of Ganki and Houchic, many encounters can end in one turn. Ganki's Wind typing also helps increase his damage output against Kaku's Debris Typhoon.

Scarawat

Electric tank to help you later

Relic Puzzle Legacy of Kain_ Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered-9

Scaravolt and Gazuma are two of the best Electric Temtems in the game. Players can find both pre-evolutions in the Windward Fort as Scarawatt and Ganki, respectively. Players will encounter numerous water temems in the game, and must utilize them to gain Scarawatt's wealth of experience.

Topic: How to beat Neo Edo Dojo

The dojo offers players unique challenges in the form of battles and puzzles, and this is how players can beat the Neoedo dojo in Temtem.

This is because it evolved into an electric/fire dual item. It may not be very useful in the second Dojo, but in the third Dojo it will throw a powerful Water/Fire Temem to fight against Scarabault. Scarabault is resistant to his opponent's fire and water attacks, so even at low levels he can use electric attacks to finish the fight. This also allows us to see how powerful this Temtem is due to its high HP stats.

platypet

A Complete Solution for Fire Temtem

Temtem's best early team Platypet

On the second island, players will encounter numerous wild Fire Temtems. This Temtem and its evolutions can perform group tasks quickly thanks to the Tsunami skill. This Temtem is also a perfect choice for destroying secondary seals thanks to its powerful Water type, but it also has a dual type that makes it a Toxic type. This toxic typing powers Kaku's Urushiol skill while fighting together. Platypet learns water, poison, and even earth attacks.

This is one of the best special attack stat items and can be found in Gifted Bridges on the game's first island. Many players will keep this Temtem in their main party throughout the game and it will shine in the early and final parts of the journey. This Temtem is not only rated as one of the best Toxic Temtems, but also as one of the best Water Temtems. This is perfect for playing against awkward types of opponents.

nesla

Self-healing sweeper for agricultural experience

Nessla, the best early team in Temtem

There are many similar types of Temems in this list, but this has resulted in me including all of the ones available in the game except Electric. Most types have been solved twice, but Water has already been solved four times due to how often it appears in the game. Electricity is weak to Crystal and Earth, which isn't really an option on the game's first island. Players will want to pick Nessla to rectify this. Nessla is the last Temtem players will add to their party, as they must defeat the first Dojo leader to get the Surfboard first.

Once you do so, there is only a 10% chance of this Temtem appearing in a small body of water in the Thalassian Cliffs or in one of the southernmost points of the Sylaro River. What makes this Temtem a popular choice is that it can have the Electrosynthesis trait, which heals it whenever it takes electrical damage. Additionally, you can learn Chain Lightning to attack 2 opponents before healing yourself. This allows Nessla to complete many water-based battles in one turn while also healing herself, allowing her to gain experience for other Temtems the player has deployed. Nessla heals frequently with her Electric attacks, making her great for dealing with Electric Temtem as well.
