The best part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has one of the most unique stories of all animation and comics. It all begins when the Stone Mask reveals its true power. This only fuels the conflict between the Joestar and Brando families. Some people are calling it a very bizarre turn of events.

Part 9 – JoJo Land

a promising adventure

Jojo Land's main character Jodio and his stand, November Rain.

Jojo Lands gives longtime fans a slightly less defined Jojo through a rather unique stand. It's difficult to rank the parts of JoJo that barely made it through the front door. The star of JoJo Land is Jodio, who has one goal. Get rich by committing various crimes throughout Hawaii.

Jodio shares a similar name to two of the most popular characters in Jojo history, but another feature that has fans taking notice is the strange stand that comes with it. This is November rain. Heavy droplets can pour down and cause destruction. This is already a unique protagonist that we will follow as the series unfolds.

Part 1 – Phantom Blood

battle between good and evil

Phantom Blood, Jonathan and Dio's first meeting

As far as finished parts go, Phantom Blood is at the bottom of the list. But that doesn't mean you should skip it. It contains horror elements that will leave fans of the dark and creepy hungry for more. Also appearing is Jonathan Joestar, the most honorable and tragic Jojo.

Although the story is not long and there are some parts with a lot of twists and turns, the conflict between Jonathan and Dio is worth watching. This is also where Dio shows off his most vampiric side with an elegant way of speaking, catching the ears of anime fans. For the full Phantom Blood experience, read the manga as it contains more content.

Part 5 – Golden Wind

A disconnected but satisfying trip

Jojo Part 5 Golden Wind's promotional art features Team Bucciarati.

The golden wind is fantastic. But as far as JoJo's part is concerned, this has very little relevance to anything that happens in the rest of the series. While the topic of Giorno being Dio's son is quickly swept under the rug, there's still a lot to hold on to.

Introduced in Part 3, the Stand became a staple of the JoJo series and influenced many other anime. These are the best!

Set in Venice, it follows Giorno as he tries to rise up the ranks of the mafia to use his influence to protect innocent people. However, when the escort mission fails, Giorno and his newfound allies become the greatest enemies targeting Stand users.

Part 6 – Stone Ocean

end of timeline

The intro to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean features Jolyne and her companions trapped in the green dolphin prison.

Some fans hate Stone Ocean and some love it. However, there is Cao Cao who uses clever problem-solving to defeat enemies that brute force alone cannot defeat. Jolyne's role is a culmination of everything that came before, but it can often leave you with mixed feelings.

It introduces some interesting concepts like Dio having multiple children, but despite their potential, it doesn't do much with them. The Green Baby process may seem a bit more complicated to follow until you see the end result. The story is mostly confined to Green Dolphin Prison until Jolyne's Escape.

Part 8 – Jojolion

A mystery that continues to deepen

Gappy uses Soft and Wet in the Jojolion cartoon.

Jojolion has a lot to offer in terms of a great mystery, interesting stands, and the return of one of the greatest original locations in Jojo history. Like Steel Ball Run, the story is strengthened by taking place in a new continuity rather than being tied to the original timeline.

As the eighth Jojo, Josuke, or Gapi, seeks to uncover the truth behind his identity and his connection to the Jostar family tree. Part 8 doesn't just leave you feeling like you're the random stand user of the week, it also has the benefit of having a lot of fights that give you a deeper understanding of Jojolion's bigger mystery. Rather, its biggest flaw is that it has a final antagonist who doesn't mesh well with the rest of the main villains.

Part 2 – Combat Tendency

No stand, no problem

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure took a big left turn in terms of its protagonist. While Jonathan is the series' embodiment of pure goodness, Joseph Joestar has a good heart but a prickly energy that sends friends and enemies off guard.

It's time to pose like a stand user for the best JoJo's Bizarre Adventure opening.

These characters make Battle Tenency a joy to read and watch. As the segment expands, the vampire threat is overshadowed by the awakening of the Pillar Men. With his contrasting personality to Joseph, it's quite fun to see how he learns to win them over by thinking outside the box. So, even though the Battle Tendency doesn't have a stand, it can still show off as one of the best Jojo parts.

Part 3 – Stardust Crusaders

Stand Introduction

Dio and Jotaro fighting with their respective close-range stands.

Stardust Crusaders is one of the most popular parts of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. It has everything to get someone immediately invested in the series. There are characters with threatening enemies, the introduction of stand abilities, and a lot of chemistry traveling halfway across the world together.

Stardust Crusaders has been enhanced through several animations such as the Ova or the official animation. This will help you create a more lasting impact on your fans. This may put Stardust Crusaders over the top, but others do some aspects better. Still, you shouldn't skip parts to get to Stardust Crusaders.

Part 7 – Steel Ball Run

Racing Across America

Johnny Joestar posing with a stand from the Steel Ball Run cartoon

Steel Ball Run starts off strong, with a fresh new continuity from everything that came before. It is best described as a blend of the first three parts of Cao Cao. The conflict between Joestar and Brando arises again, but it's not exactly a battle between pure good and pure evil.

Meanwhile, Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli travel across America on horseback. Every racer in Steel Ball Run Race has a reason to win, which makes the enemies and allies they encounter that much more appealing. This part also provides quite a bit of mystery about the actual purpose of the race that underlies the new timeline.

Part 4 – Diamonds are unbreakable

Excellent location and memorable characters

A collage of characters from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure stands in front of a village building.

Diamond is Unbreakable is the fourth part of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and benefits from many story decisions for the plot. Staying in Morio during the course of the plot can make it feel like a special place in JoJo's world. This is not a stopover during a long trip, but home.

While other parts have more pressing goals, Diamond is Unbreakable takes things easy and allows your characters to take a breather. When the main villain is finally revealed, the town and characters you've come to love are all in danger. With Yoshikage Kira appearing throughout the story, you may find yourself rooting for him by accident.
