Engineers are unsung heroes. Battlefield 6At least when it comes to certain maps. Some of the smaller maps don't allow the Engineer to shine, at least without a very specific loadout, but on maps that are much more open and can be overpowered by powerful tanks, you'll see the Engineer being the most valuable player around.
But if you don't know what you're doing, you're going to have a hard time as an engineer. Their equipment is a bit more complex than their counterparts, and their weapons can make them uncompetitive at certain distances.
Engineer Weapon Proficiency
Engineers Get bonuses when using SMGGives them improved unassisted fire control. As far as signature weapon bonuses go, this is probably the least effective. On the positive side, if you learn how to manage your commitments well, SMGs make it very easy to maximize DPS. (Damage per second).
As expected, SMGs are not particularly viable outside of a range of about 50 meters except under special circumstances. However, if you can continue the fight within that range, it is the most mobile option and is very easy to keep on target.
All Engineer Gadgets
All Engineer gadgets revolve around the vehicle in some way.. Most of these are aimed at destroying enemy vehicles, and they are all done in slightly different ways. There is one notable exception where you can destroy enemy vehicles or repair friendly vehicles.

Engineer Signature Traits
Every class has its own signature characteristics. For engineers Avoid taking full explosion damage when near friendly vehicles. When a vehicle being repaired explodes head-on, lives are often saved.
It also prevents enemies from hijacking empty friendly vehicles as long as they are nearby.
