Magic: The Gathering's Final Fantasy set may be one of the highest scores the game has reached in its 32-year history. This is because of how well the game sold and how much hype it generated. Despite many fans feeling dissatisfaction or indifference toward Universe Beyond in Standard, MTG's Final Fantasy set still caught the attention of many players, no matter how long they had been playing the game. The core Final Fantasy sets have been out for a few months, but Wizards of the Coast has more planned for the holiday season, with a Chocobo Bundle and Scene Box releasing on December 5th.
MTGThe Final Fantasy Chocobo Bundle could be perfect for fans of either or both games, considering that despite the random nature of 2 of the 20 foil cards, the MSRP is very competitive compared to what's on offer. The Scene Box, on the other hand, includes three play boosters and six mechanically unique cards, making it an especially great purchase for fans of Commander and Eternal. There are 4 boxes, their contents are as follows:

Not all boxes allow players to use each card they come with in the same way. MTG One of the core rules of the format for Commander decks is to use cards that match the commander's color identity. However, each box has at least one legendary creature that can be used as a commander, and the best creatures come from the FF15 scene boxes.
One of Magic: The Gathering's 11 new Final Fantasy Commanders is already OP.
Some Final Fantasy scene boxes only include one legendary creature to qualify as a commander, while others offer a variety of options for players to choose from. A total of 11 new Final Fantasy MTG The cards can be the commanders of the deck and are as follows:
-
Garland, royal kidnapper
-
warrior of fate
-
White Mage of Destiny
-
thief of fate
-
black wizard of fate
-
The possessed wizard Edea
-
Rinoa, Angel Wing
-
Safer, Balaam's rival
-
Squall, Gunblade Duelist
-
amarant coral
-
Noctis, heir apparent
The most powerful of these is Noctis, the heir apparent, and although the other cards have their merits, it is an iconic card. FF15 The character is able to blink during combat to great effect thanks to his ability to grant benefits to other creatures who can achieve something similar. This includes things like standard meta cards. Magic: The GatheringIt's like Kaito, Bane of Nightmares, where the ninjutsu returns an attacking creature to the player's hand and puts Kaito in position to attack by tapping it.
December 5th could be the end of an era for the Esper Commander deck in MTG
In addition, Jin Sakai's powerful Ghost of Tsushima also appears. MTGPlayStation Secret Lair can provide Noctis with unblockability. This means that gear-related Voltron decks can achieve amazing combos with the Esper color. This lends itself to much more flicker support, such as cards like Ghostly Flicker or Epheerate.
MTG Final Fantasy decks can have a variety of options, even within equipment card sets. The Blue Mage's Crane allows players to cast a spell or instant from the opponent's graveyard for 3 normal mana, the Colossus Hammer can be equipped for free when Noctis blinks, giving Noctis a free +10/+10, and the Genji Glove It can give Noctis a double attack and allow him a second combat phase. These are just a few examples, but they show how powerful the deck can be with proper tuning, and much of that power comes from the new Scene Box Noctis cards.
