Batman must save everyone and death must never burden him. It doesn't matter if it looks cool. Batman shouldn't kill, and that should be a guarantee for the character so that true fans can celebrate this portrayal.

A somewhat controversial portrayal of Batman is that Bruce Wayne is the mask and Batman is the truth. However, this is often a hotly debated topic and something the DCU should try and avoid. It makes sense for an early Batman, but any Batman with experience in Gotham should know how important Bruce Wayne is to Gotham City as its billionaire protector.

Bruce Wayne's public spotlight emphasizes his importance as a philanthropist, investing Wayne's money in causes that help with homelessness, orphanages, and medical care. Bruce's finances should show how committed he is to helping Gotham, and at night he protects it with the Fist of Justice.

5 fantastic elements

Don't be embarrassed by a villain who doesn't even need a sense of logic.

It's always nice to see realistic portrayals of villains in Batman movies, like serial killer Riddler or terrorist Bane, but the DCU's Batman deserves more fantastical elements. Fantastic elements are essential to Batman's war on Gotham City, including a strange serum that turns Kirk Langstrom into Man-Bat, the healing waters of the Lazarus Pit, and monsters made of clay.

The DCU's inclusion of fantastical elements allows it to easily stand on its own from its predecessors, and even rival Marvel with its fantastical themes. Batman should be able to glide through Gotham City and drive the Batmobile without arguing about “realism.”

Most Batman movies feature one film's villain, who either dies or is never seen again. However, one of the greatest aspects of Batman comics is the fact that these villains always come back, sometimes teaming up, with the goal of tormenting Batman and taking Gotham for their own.

Not only would it be nice to see recurring villains, but it would also be nice to see Batman villains that usually don't get the spotlight they deserve because of how weird they are. Who's to say that the seasoning king can't come visit? Or are there more fantastical villains like Solomon Grundy and Clayface? Batman's villains are the best and should not be ignored.

3 A comic book suit for the ages.

There have been some great Batman suits in live action over the years (nipples not included). Most Batman movies try to look dark and realistic, giving the Batsuit too many dark colors. Sure, some of these Batsuits are just as amazing as Pattinson's, but that doesn't mean the DCU should be embarrassed about a bit of color.

This is a Batman that must accommodate a gold or yellow utility belt, have a yellow-rimmed bat symbol on his chest, or even have both a navy and gray color scheme and trunks! The DCU needs to make these suits look like superheroes and not soldiers.
