There are many resources available. arc radar Some are there to sell or recycle, while others are core items used to craft the gear you need to survive.
One of them is the Voltage Converter, which players need to craft Heavy Shields or Showstopper Grenades. Thankfully, this item is a bit easier to obtain than some of the harder-to-find Rare items like Rusty Gear or Industrial Batteries. Here's where to find these crafting materials and what you can get them for:
Where to Find Voltage Converters
There are several places you can look when looking for a voltage converter.. Being classified as an Electric-type material means you'll have a bold lightning bolt symbol below its name, meaning you're more likely to find it at any point of interest. Here are some key points I like to look for when growing voltage converters specifically:
- Pilgrim's Peak at the Blue Gate
- Substation and power generation complex on the dam battlefield
- Spaceport arrival building
Pilgrim's Peak is my favorite place to look for voltage converters.The basement is full of electrical panels and fuse boxes that can all be broken into. You often find quite a few voltage converters this way along with processors and sensors. It also helps that this is a high tier loot area. This means your chances of finding blue or epic tier gear are much higher than most locations. Especially since Pilgrim's Peak houses a ton of Electric-type materials.
Another popular, though often confusing, location is the Dam Battlefield Power Complex. It's located in the northern part of the map, so it's a good idea to be underground when looking for the Voltage Converter.
The loot isn't as densely packed as Pilgrim's Peak, but the sheer size of this point of interest makes up for it. There are several areas with numerous computer terminals and fragile metal boxes that are great for finding voltage converters. When needed.
Lastly, the arrivals building here at the spaceport is based solely on my large and completely superstitious belief that the drillable basement is full of great electrical grade items. The building is classified as commercial and technical, but there are numerous computers and servers that can be broken into in the small basement you can enter. I've consistently had a lot of success finding voltage converters.
Recycling objects of voltage converters
Conversely, if you don't want to hunt for voltage converters individually, you can always get them by disassembling certain materials. Remember to always recycle outside of the raid. This is because we can provide better production and items when we separate the parts. Items that can be salvaged for your voltage converter include:
- industrial charger
- ion sputter
- signal amplifier
Of the three, the Ion Sputter is the best choice as it offers four voltage converters and an Exodus module. However, this is Epic Tier so don't expect to stumble upon too much. That said, if you end up with too many of them while exploring the new Stella Montis map, you can safely dismantle them for these materials!
