Eiichiro Oda disappointed Big Mom
Author Eiichiro Oda one pieceThe best-selling comic series of all time. It sold over 500 million copies, more than twice the sales of Naruto. It's worth noting that Naruto was considered the closest work to One Piece, but the differences prove otherwise. One Piece was a huge success because of the quality of its writing. Oda has cleverly created a complex world where the little things are just as important as the big things.
He has successfully created a diverse world filled with all kinds of characters. Although he handled most problems with extreme complexity, there were times when his judgment was questionable. After all, he is not immune from error. The biggest and most notable character that Oda didn't handle well was Charlotte Linlin, aka Big Mom. Her debut was spectacular, but everything went downhill from there.

One Piece's old timeline is used in other anime, so it needs to be moved to the new anime.
Big Mom was one of the most powerful characters
- I ate sorusorunomi
- I was exposed to all types of hockey.
Big Mom was introduced in the Whole Cake Island arc, serving as one of the main antagonists. She is presented as a vicious individual who will stop at nothing to achieve her goals. This became clear when she murdered her son who tried to stand in her way. In terms of strength, there are only a few characters that can match her power. She possessed the Sorusorunomi, a Paramecia-type devil fruit that allowed her to control spirits. Big Mom can steal an opponent's soul and kill them instantly. Or, you can fuse stolen souls to strengthen your own power.
Everyone could die. – Big Mom
Another special ability of Big Mom's Devil Fruit is that it can create hoes. All she had to do was place a piece of her soul inside an inanimate object. Big Mom can also use her soul to create a powerful hoe. She had a total of four Homies, including Hera, Prometheus, Zeus, and Napoleon. All of these Homies were very strong, and they had no problem destroying their opponents on their own. The only downside to her Devil Fruit is that she cannot extract the souls of others unless they are afraid of her.
Nonetheless, she had other weapons in her arsenal to solve these problems. As the Lord of the Seas, Big Mom could handle all three types of Haki. She had such great control over them all that it was extremely difficult to beat her in battle. Lastly, it is worth mentioning that her physical strength was as strong as that of Kaido, nicknamed the strongest creature in the world.
Eiichiro Oda disappointed Big Mom
With such an amazing character at his disposal, I can't help but think that Oda could have used her much better. For example, she could have killed everyone on Whole Cake Island, but Oda gave her the unique condition of being unable to distinguish between right and wrong. She began losing weight, which undoubtedly reduced her strength to some extent. In the end, Big Mom couldn't harm anyone. All she could do was watch her reputation be destroyed by the Straw Hat Pirates.
Big Mom returns in Wano Kuni
The One Piece author decided to use her in the Wano Country arc, where she ultimately teamed up with Kaido to fight against the Worst Generation. Before forming an unexpected alliance, Kaido and Big Mom fought each other for several days, with the fight ending in a draw. This proved that the powers of the two were somewhat equal. So one might have expected her to perform at the same level as her colleagues, but that soon turned out to be nothing more than wishful thinking and she was completely left out.
Big Mom had to battle Eustace Kid and Trafalgar Law. Although both were powerful individuals, he had no reason to beat her. However, Oda wanted to remove Big Mom from the story, so he nerfed her once again. This time, Big Mom did not allow her to use the Conqueror's Haki, which allowed the two young pirates to overpower and defeat her.
In comparison, Kaido appeared as a giant monster. Big Mom's defeat was truly tragic and necessary purely for the sake of the plot. Otherwise, she would have completely annihilated the two supernovae. I hope Oda doesn't repeat the same mistake with other characters.
